I'm glad the kids thought it was just some "yay it's Friday" treat, but I really hadn't planned on leading AP Physics in Thriller. There is apparently now much debate on whether I'm the coolest teacher or the dorkiest teacher. Both are absolutely acceptable.

We held the first round of audtions this afternoon for the musical. Something possessed me to join in and this is what happened. Complete with dancing.

I'd like to take this opportunity to personally apologize to Carol for my impromptu serenading when we were out at lunch. The waiter just handed me a guitar, and I didn't seem to have much choice than to go for it.

Got to keep the guitar, though.

I think I can carry a tune. Of course, I'd like to be able to stop bursting into song and dance randomly. Morgan is loving it though. It is like a Disney movie come to life for her.

For those of you whom I didn't see yesterday, this is what I looked like when I woke up. I mean, I've gone blonde before but I'm not a huge fan. It could've been worse though I suppose. I do have to say that Dimitri, you really did rock the teal look. You should actually dye your hair that color sometime just for the hell of it.

I have so much to be thankful for on my big 5-0. I know things aren't always easy here, but I'm incredibly grateful to be celebrating my birthday with my husband and children today. This place makes it possible for me.

People should actually pay attention when they're on the elebator. Getting the door nearly closed on your foot is not fun. Thanks for nothing, Happy.

They seem to be terribly unresponsive to the happenings of the station and the surrounding area, and I think we've all been burned by SHIELD enough not to fully trust this sort of government reach.
