Curfew? Oh really, now. Fool, don't they know my kind have to be out at night And now people are missing? This cannot go unpunished. If I happen to see someone in the process of 'capture', the offenders will be severely punished.

And this also goes for anyone helping them or assist them in any way, as well as any soldiers directly involved in the kidnappings. I have a pile of long wooden stakes that are just waiting to be used! Just tempt me I'd really love the opportunity. And if anyone else might like to borrow a few to use them as well, just let me know. I have plenty to spare.

What the hell?

Hmm, most curious. Found something very familiar to me when I woke up today. Err, tonight. It's my old armor from the 1470s. Not the usual one I had but the armor, my Dragon armor. Given to me when I was a young member of a special order. It's something I had only put on when I knew I had to be at my worst, at my most ruthless and deadly self in battle. In war.

I'll take a picture of it, I think these phones can do that. Technology is amazing, is it not? Mankind has come a long way with innovation. Anyway, where was I? Ah! Yes, photo. Here it is.

Well how about that, it still fits. I wonder if I should add a detachable long black cape or cloak to it. Or a few additional weapons on the wrist-guards.

Well, that was different. It felt odd being a human again and everything seemed harder and more limiting without vampire powers. Well, my talent for sword combat hadn't really diminished. I was always good at that even as a mortal. Took me a while to get used to zombies suddenly attacking me.

But one advantage to being human, temporary as it was, is this - to be able to feel the warmth of sunlight without burning, to see the beauty of a sun rising or setting. Alas, that is no longer possible now.

You know... it sucks when it feels like it comes back ten fold. Maybe it was good to be normal for once. Though, no. I prefer this over normal any day.

I can't believe it. I'm actually human again. Very strange. I haven't been human in over five hundred years. This.. may take some getting used to. Not sure what to think of it.

Were this still the 1500s, I'd gladly accept human life again. But five centuries is a long time to live life one way. I only wish my son were here with me. To be a family again. Well, it's a nice dream at least.

So, are we just going to ignore that the storms are getting worse?

I've been told that the prison is once again dealing with another menace only this time in multiples of two. Such a shame that you lot can't seem to catch a break.

Hmm, so this is what the end of the world looks like. So much.. death. I can smell it. All the beauty is gone from this world, such a pity. Am I to understand correctly, science did this, a virus? Humans did this? In that case, I can't say I'm too surprised. What does surprise me is that I'm unable to leave this world now.

Also learned something else, it seems that vampires don't live in secrecy here. Interesting! It was mostly kept hidden in my world. Or supposed to be. There had been some who occasionally went feral and exposed himself by openly attacking merchant wagons. So I'm curious, where would I go to find a 'drink'?
