What did you think of the game?
I prefer chess, to be honest with you, but I had an easy go of it.
What aspects of the game did you enjoy? If you disliked the entire experience, please attempt to highlight which aspect vexed you least.
Nostalgia is always very comforting. As the only one in the experience that was alive during the 50s, the whole thing bothered me a lot less than it might have. A change of scenery and a set job to do each day was refreshing, I'm happy to say that much.
What aspects of the game did you dislike?
Everything else? Yes, that sums it up nicely.
Did you enjoy the chance to play for set rewards and prizes?
I enjoyed it about as much as your average male enjoys a prostate exam by an aged doctor. You need it and you know you do, but as you're being told to turn your head and cough you can't quite remember why. Some things you just can't turn your head to, can you?
Were you playing for any prize in particular?
All of the necessary ones.
In the future, what prize would you find best incentive to play a similar game?
All of the frivolous ones.
Was there any other player within the game you found to be a hindrance? Did anyone make it difficult for you to keep in character?
No. Everyone took it like a sport.
Was there any other player within the game that you found to be helpful?
Absolutely everyone. Chase, Marco, and Jack stand out.
If we were to send you on similar game experiences or vacations, which settings or time periods are you most interested in?
To be quite frank I think any sort of historical experience would be enjoyable for the group, so long as you toned down some of the accuracy. The racial tensions and the gender issues. You know the ones.
Any other general thoughts on the C39 experience?
I must hand it to your props department. The recreations of some of the foodstuffs I purchased were just as I remembered them. I do hope they were recreations, not just leftovers. Though I supposed everything we ate back then would eventually prove deadly, so what's the difference?
