I'd like to find out who would be interested in volunteering for a security council. I'm looking for four people. I think the fair thing would be to get a count of who wants to be involved and then have a house vote to finalize the four. If you're willing to help out, let me know.

Also, after the fires in both the billiards room, and the kitchen, I think it might be a good idea to have a patrol of the house at night. If we can get some volunteers, we can work out a shift schedule.

Early on, when the original group of us had only been here a week or two, we organized a small group and explored the public buildings. Figured out what we had, what resources were available to us and where, brought anything important (like the bikes) back to the house, that kind of thing. We avoided all the houses. They're in such a state of disrepair, and at the time none of us felt any driving need to run the risk of searching through them.

I talked it out with Owen and Oliver earlier, and we think it's time to revisit that idea. I'd like to organize another group to look through the houses (or at least, as many as we safely can) and take inventory of anything potentially useful. We have no idea if there's anything important or helpful in any of them, and it's better to figure out now than wait until snow starts and wish we had. We'll go as one group for a couple, and Oliver's going to try and teach us what to look out for in the way of hazards. Then, once everyone's comfortable and oriented, we'll see if we can group off and cover more ground.

Ideally, I'd like to get this going as soon as possible. It's difficult to plan things around here, but let's say the day after tomorrow? Please let me know if you're interested in joining, and I'll let you know a more specific time and place once I know how many we've got.

I want to recruit you for a really weird project.

So, there's a floor full of cells now and I'm not sure im ever going to make it back downstairs again. I did leave Oliver's room the other day, though, so... Yeah. I just felt like I should tell you. How are you? How about that fire, huh? That's bullshit.

I'll be running into town today, and I'm going to bring back as much food as I can. In a wheelbarrow, if need be. I noticed you had to throw a lot out yesterday. If you wanna write up a list for me I'll do the best I can.

I could also check out the restaurants for pots and pans, appliances, that kind of thing, if there's anything in particular that you need.

Well, that's going to spare us a hell of a lot of work. I'd still like to use the chain and padlock on top of whatever lock the cell we throw Simms in has. Can't hurt, and might prevent them from remotely popping opening it up. I'd also like to inspect those new cells before we put anyone in.

Congrats, Owen. Any thought on how you want to work that council idea?
