So when I was a teenager my brother was working at this shop where he didn't really like his co-workers but agreed to do Secret Santa anyway? I am a prize winner in one of the other subject houses, and I have been here a very, very long time. I have requested contact with the outside world as my reward, and this is what I was given. Georgie and I are starting a band! As rewards (Thanks again, Felix) Georgie got a guitar, and I got a bass, and we'd really like to jam with some people, so we're thinking that maybe tomorrow, catastrophic events permitting, we're going to hold band tryouts. All instruments permitted, and I know we don't actually have drums here but if someone wants to tap out a tune on some cardboard boxes and a pan, that's acceptable. Vocals are good too. I don't know how serious we really are about a real band, but we just want to play, so this is kind of an interest check, and I'll put out more tomorrow.

Wrote the post, venting, sometimes (like I told Jack) the kumbaya hand holding sucks especially when you're trying to make something chill happen and get made to feel bad for not including white ppl one time.

That said, I didn't do those horrifying anti-semitic banners, Daniel and Rae were with me all night and I know most of you don't know me but those who do I hope you know I'd never fucking do something like that.

Live and learn and all that, and I apologize to anyone I offended for my half-Nigerian post-segregation land venting. Just to reiterate, I did not do those banners. That's disgusting and whoever did? Go fuck yourself.

I'm gonna not be around for a few days though 'cos honestly the post is getting blown out of proportion and given neither I nor Daniel, the participants, were responsible for the seriously offensive thing here which is the anti-semitism I think maybe focus on that instead of coming for my half black and his Asian pretty justified not-chill "private" thoughts.

Good morning sort-of! So in light of the shit we faced as 'undesirables' in the C39 crap hole, Daniel and I thought we the people of color deserve a party. So, there's going to be drinks and sandwiches and other finger food if we can figure it out, also music and maybe games if anyone's got any they know and is fun!

This meeting that Cecilia is calling is so that I can tell the house of my experiences while I was away. I was told something rather important in that time, and it may be upsetting to some people. I don't want either of you to have to walk into that blindly. It is inevitable for our companions to group us together -- to this point, we are the only three 'returns.' Assumptions will be made that our experiences were similar.

I want you both to know that I intend to start by dispelling that notion. I have no reason to believe either of you underwent anything like what I did, and I will tell everyone that -- and that no one has a right to hassle you for information you don't have, or to pry into what is likely to already be an upsetting time for you both. I do not know that people will listen, but I intend to try. We are connected in a way, even if our experiences aren't the same.

There are good people here, and they're willing to step in and help out in any way they might be able to. Please let me know if there is anything you would like me to express on your behalves today.
