My name is Alistair Barnes. I suppose I would be the aforementioned "new arrival". I couldn't quite follow much of anything that transpired today, nor do I fully understand the situation in general. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, so it took like all day, but I think I've made the octopus a nice little home in the bathtub in the downstairs bathroom. It's probably still going to die because it doesn't have a filtration system or proper saltwater or a lot of other things, and also it got dropped from the sky, but for now it's alive and actually kind of sweet! But if you're on the first floor, just letting you know that it might escape and kind of wander around. Sorry. If you see it, just throw it back in the bathtub!

I need a better name than "Octopus." Right now I'm calling him Hathaway.

Okay, so, now that that's dooooone, I'm gonna see if anything is salvageable from my photo album. I'll take, like, even a face, and not a whole page. I'm gonna do that in the lounge, so if you are good at puzzles, you should help me. Jack, you should help me too.

If anybody wants any fresh music on their computer I've got about 20 gigs worth. Can't say it'll be what everybody likes, but might as well fill those hard drives with something.

Yes, I was actually thinking about doing it. If it hadn't gone public, I would've. I wouldn't go out of my way to hurt anyone here, but if it came down to it in our situation and I had to, I would.

I'm not saying this because I want you to understand where I'm coming from, or even feel bad for me. I just thought you should know because you're my fr you deserve to know.

I just walked over to JD's room. It's completely empty. It looks like no one ever fucking lived there. JD was a cool guy, chill as fuck, and I don't think he'd hurt a fucking fly. If he got "terminated", it makes me a little worried about what the fuck keeps us here.

This place is fucked up, and I hope JD is back at his home.

In other news... anyone else know why the fuck they need us on the lawn? That's kind of [...] ominous, I guess. You think someone's gonna show up and hand out shit?
