Rae - 8:05 a.m. What did you think of the game? Very little.
What aspects of the game did you enjoy? If you disliked the entire experience, please attempt to highlight which aspect vexed you least. I enjoyed having a change of pace.
What aspects of the game did you dislike? Being cast as a barren housewife was less than enjoyable. I especially disliked seeing my housemates suffer because of cruel and archaic social standards. And the trial was an unnecessary mess.
Did you enjoy the chance to play for set rewards and prizes? "Enjoy" seems like an overly generous word, but yes. I'm glad to see the majority of my housemates went for items/services that would benefit the whole house.
Were you playing for any prize in particular? Yes, and luckily someone got it.
In the future, what prize would you find best incentive to play a similar game? The shop idea is a nice one, though having not yet been into town, I can't say for sure I think it's actually needed. Newer books, a more comprehensive clinic/medical staff, internet access (even limited), and the obvious "send us all home intact and relatively sane" prize I'm sure we all want, would all be high on my list.
Was there any other player within the game you found to be a hindrance? Did anyone make it difficult for you to keep in character? No. Everyone seemed fairly committed to their roles, or at least respectful of those of us who were. The trial was a challenge.
Was there any other player within the game that you found to be helpful? As far as gay husbands go, I couldn't have asked for better; Oliver is actually quite cuddly and warm. Cecilia helped quite a bit, too, by giving me something to actually do with my time.
If we were to send you on similar game experiences or vacations, which settings or time periods are you most interested in? What the hell. Let's all be pirates next.
Any other general thoughts on the C39 experience? Not a one.
