Hey, so. I know you've been busting your ass all day and I don't want to add to your stress levels but I thought you'd be more stressed if you
didn't get an update, so this is what's been going down.
Cecilia was doing kind of okay this morning, in that she was lucid and could carry on a conversation, and the others were about the same. They've been steadily getting worse all day. We don't even have a proper thermometer (because fuck you too, Zenith), so I've been estimating by keeping track of pulse rates, which sort of roughly correspond with relative increases in temperature. Consistently high fevers/heart rates, anyway, undulating up and down a bit through the day (enough to make them sweat through the sheets, not enough to decrease body heat by much) and responding only minimally to wimpy measures like tepid baths. Confusion and delirium. Still lots of nausea and vomiting, headaches, intense thirst, flaming hail, plague of frogs, and it would seem that the Nile has turned to blood.
Most concerning here is that I'm starting to see chest pain and shortness of breath on exertion, and pretty much all I can do for that is keep them lying on their sides and minimize excitement like trips to the bathroom. I'm staying with Lennon and Jack overnight because this is seriously worrisome. I don't go in Cecilia's room unless she's together enough to answer a knock, and I'm hesitant to ask Willow to keep working when she's been running around all day, so I'm not sure what's the best thing to do there.
So that's the situation, thought you'd want all the gory details.
