I need to know about anyone that was targeted last night.

Once upon a time the idea was tossed around of organizing night watches, and I think it's really far past time that we establish that. I'm volunteering to organize it.

Owen took a list of volunteers, which he's given me, but I know it's been a while since that happened and I want to make sure everyone's on the same page. I propose a look-out in the halls of each floor overnight - let's say from 11PM to 7 AM. If we have enough volunteers to split that into 4 hour shifts, all the better. I'm open to suggestions.

I have the original list of volunteers, but some time has passed so I'm going to try asking again first: who is willing to do this? Who is willing to do this tonight?

So one nice little outcome of that wonderful game is I'm stocked up with my tools of the trade, and I'll be hanging out in the craft room with my toys if anyone wants to stop by. I take cigarettes, food and favors as payment.

We're about to have a bit of a problem and I could really use your help. Long story short, TPTB are putting Simms on trial tomorrow but They want him free in the meantime. Obviously there's an "or else" in there somewhere. We're still hashing out some details but do you think you might be able to open the bar up early today? Figure we might be able to hit him with a drunk and disorderly and get him tossed right back in the can until tomorrow.

I can't explain too much right now, but there's some trouble brewing with our resident criminal. Would you have any problem with me extending an invite for Juno and Marco to stay with us tonight? I know we don't really have much of an up character reason to go that far, but I'd appreciate it more than you know.

Thanks to Mrs. Flynn's generosity, starting today I will be available at C39's clinic on an as-needed basis, providing childcare to those families who require it. My availability is fairly open, but I do ask that you notify me at least one hour before your arrival.

(My obligations to my own family do still take precedence, as I'm sure you all understand.)

Cecilia doesn't need any help at the clinic, but she did mention that some families are having a difficult time finding childcare. If you're amenable, I'd like to offer to watch the children at the clinic while their parents are at work. I'd... rather not charge anything, at least for the folks who got fucked families of lesser means.

This is probably something we should have hashed out yesterday, but when I came home I realized we hadn't talked about sleeping arrangements. I don't mind sleeping on the couch, and we can coordinate some sort of argument to make it in character. I just want to make sure you're comfortable.

If you have time tomorrow, would you mind if I stopped by the clinic? I have a couple of things I'd like to run by you.

Everyone might want to check vacant rooms on their floors as soon as possible. Both empty rooms here on 3 are locked and pretty chilly/drafty. The windows are either damaged or open as best Kiley and I can tell. Helpful suggestions are welcome. I'm not opposed to taking doors off the hinges to fix whatever's wrong, but that seems like a matter best floated by other housemates first...

Kiley got us into the rooms, but there's enough snow up here to warrant a snowblower or a small plow. I'm going to look for shovels in what we moved from the shed. More hands make less work, so head up to 3 if you want to help.

Hey, everybody. (I'm back, if y'all didn't see my other post demanding what the hell happened to the kitchen. "A fire" is definitely the answer, so I'll just... be okay with knowing that. I've got a lot of catching up to do.)

Yesterday, Erran and I had a conversation about ways that we can sort of memorialize the people that disappear from the house. I know it happens often, but it still happens, and I'd feel better about marking it somehow. We don't really know what happens to them. I feel like it would be good and kind for us to do something, make some effort to find them (clearly not when there's five feet of snow outside though), and if we can't, then we can memorialize them somehow.

That's about as far as I got in my thought process. Does anybody have any ideas?

Hi! So, a few things that I wanted to talk about today, so please don't ignore me? Okay cool thanks!

First off, could the people who were taken out of the house but then put back kind of tell us what's going on? Because I can't be the only one who thought that you all were dead and now I just feel awful about that. But like I think it would be great if you could maybe fill us in on if you saw anyone who worked here or whatever?

Second, I feel like we should maybe acknowledge that Avram and that one big guy (not Simms, obviously) from the last group of newbies are gone, and since now we seem to get people back, that makes me a little nervous that maybe they're not gone and no one's gone and we could really use some answers, is all I'm saying.

Third, Owen, did you have the results of that vote? Because I feel like I'm being pretty take-charge here and it'd be nice to know if I'm even one of the people that everyone deemed qualified to do this.

Fourth, I was thinking that maybe we should cook some of those perishables up now and put them in tupperwares so if we do lose power, we can still at least eat lukewarm meals first, then move on to canned stuff, instead of just losing a freezer full of raw meat. I'm going to put aside some stuff for Neptune, too.

Lastly, to all the new people, hi! I'm Pam, I've been here from the beginning, I've met like two of you but those of you who I haven't met, I just want to say that if you have any questions, there a lot of people here who can do their best to answer them, and I'd be happy to try to help out, aaaand that's it for now! Listen up.

This snow is probably going to keep landing hard for a while. As tempting as it might be to wander, everyone needs to stay within sight of the house until it clears up. If you have to go outside, dress in the warmest layers you can. I don't care if you look like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man when you walk out that door, you stay safe.

If the snow gets heavy there's a good chance the power could go out. While we've got it we need to make sure we have the house set to conserve as much heat as possible, so everyone check your windows to make sure they're all closed and locked. If you feel any drafts, we can secure garbage bags over the glass to keep the warm air in and the cool air out. Pull any curtains or blinds in the meantime.

I also suggest we stick to eating mostly perishable foods until the snow stops, and save the nonperishables just in case we're stuck up here with what we've got. I think we all know by now that we don't always get help when we need it, so it's best to be prepared.

For the people on the fourth floor, pay attention to any noises that might come from the roof, or note any water spots or potential leakage.

I'm going out in a few minutes to see if I can't get some wood gathered in case we need to use our fireplaces. If anyone wants to help it would be appreciated. Dress warm, and make sure that whatever you put on is going to keep you dry. Again, stay within sight of the house.

just a quick note that I haven't forgotten about the council.

We voted on four members and Oliver and Kate got the most votes.

I have three others that are tied (Erran, Cecilia and Pam).

1. We can have a tiebreaker vote with these three to narrow this down to two.
2. I can make this decision myself.
or 3. I can ask the new additions to the house to vote. Although they haven't really been here that long to get to know anyone, I'm not comfortable shutting them out completely.

I'm willing to do whatever the house decides is the best course of action.
