SECOND CHANCES NET

Waking in a foreign room was a brief respite to the yawning years stretched out behind and ahead of me, but boredom rears its apathetic head yet again.

So many lives surround me. Breathing. Buzzing. Beating hearts.

I'm hungry.

Coming up real soon, I will have been here for a year. That's crazy to me.

And, the show is getting picked up in some more markets. Which I know doesn't mean a whole lot to most people but it's REALLY exciting.

Today is National Superhero Day. I know we have quite a few here, but I want to give a special thank you to my husband. Tony, this gig has driven me nuts at times, but your big heart knows no bounds. I am proud of you and I love you.

Dragons. Of course their are Dragons on the day we are flying out of here... I don't suppose we can trade our plan tickets for a dragon flying in that direction, huh?

Ben... has been having a rough time lately. And I... am not the best guardian probably. I didn't see it for what it was and I let it get out of control. I'm not exactly the best at teaching coping skills.

That being said, Ben and I are going to DC for a few days. He needs a break from school and a change of scenery to do something fun. He picked the Smithsonian.

After our talk, though, he agreed to let me find him a therapist. It's going to be a little hard, I don't imagine there are too many that deal with his particular situation, but I told him we would try a few different ones until he found someone he likes. I don't really know what I'm doing here, but I wanted to keep you guys on the same page. Just in case he needs more help than I can give him.

I know Sam is probably a lot happier at home, but it’s going to feel weird not seeing her around the apartment anymore.

No, but really, I'm kind of worried about him. He hasn't hit the rest of the apartment with the fervor he got his room with, but it might be a matter of time. Place looks like a disaster area that's been trashed twice.

OK I Know the idea got tossed around not long ago of having a family dinner. We really should do that soon.

I miss D If our magic rain is to be believed, I'm going to be in San Francisco for a long time, but I wouldn't call that a bad thing. Those of you who got caught in the rain, too, I hope you saw something good. No apocalypses or anything, right?

You know how you keep waiting to introduce yourself on a social media club and you keep putting it off and putting it off and putting it off and then surprise, people's powers are apparently swapping, which makes it awkward to say hi because you don't have your own powers and you assume that the middle of your forehead headache is just from eye strain because everything has been fuzzy and you keep wondering how awkward it would be to just do a general call for 'hey anyone have glasses I can borrow?' but that's not really why you've been having those headaches?

Hi. I'm new-ish. You can call me Ben R considering previous resident Bens. I'm still getting used to the... very kumbahyah hugs and friendly atmosphere as my universe is just a lot of worst assumptions and punch first and ask questions later, but.... if the designation of 616 rings any bells, raise your hands.

Also, uh, just... sleep help would be good. Or sleep help where you... stay in your body would be... really really good... I've had enough out of body experiences that I really really really don't need more.

Sorry about the state of the bathroom. I didn't have my aids in and was humming and then the sink exploded. I'll arrange for repairs after I figure out how to not blow up anything else.

For now, I've got duct tape on my mouth.

If anyone sees my wife in her beautiful birthday crown and sash around the apartments, make sure you bow! We are all peasants before a merciful and beautiful queen.

And I, for one, know just how lucky I am to be in her presence day in and day out.

It is my mommys birthday today! Peter and I made her breakfast and Daddy made the apartment look very fun and she was very surprised I know.

Happy birthday Mommy I love you lots!
