Good thing I didn't plan on going anywhere I guess? but I haven't had a good conversation with a capybara in a while.

Starting the first Friday in October, The Midnight Hour is officially on as a call-in show. We're going to talk about the weird and the super. We may not have your "average" supernatural elements native to this world but there is plenty of weird to talk about anyway.

Basically: I got the job. I do need to create a buffer episode to air should our weird happenings get in the way (again) of a show so I was thinking some anonymous interviews. You talk about your personal experiences, I make sure you don't get named or found out, and people get to wonder if you're insane or not.

Example: if I weren't the host, I could talk about my experiences with werewolves. But I can't because you'd literally be able to recognize my voice and I'd get laughed off the air. BUT! I can pretend to be pretending that I'm playing along and the big wigs will eat it up.

Also, I 100% don't ever expect people to tune in. The show runs 11pm to 2am BUT I WANTED TO SHARE MY GOOD NEWS. It helps to feel a little more like home. Not that I'm nation-wide yet or anything. But radio is my home base and it feels good.

While I was genuine in everything I said on the network and to my neighbors yesterday, what I want to know today is:

What the Nine Levels of Hell was that?

As I've told the representatives I've spoken to, I know the laws, I refuse to do anything until I speak to someone from the Department of Foreign affairs from the MACUSA.

I think it might be best if we start tracking what we know about this thing. It's not a creature I'm familiar with but I still suspect it's from my world, or at least Emily's, not Albus'.

- We believe it to be some sort of demon, conjured by magic.

- It definitely wants to hurt, perhaps even kill. (Has Murdock been located and assisted?)

- The building is completely blacked out. Electricity in general does seem to work. Also flashlights, candles, and spells that summon light still seem to work

- We can't leave the building. I'm uncertain if others can come in and if they can, will they be trapped with us. Someone should likely contact Ms. Smith and the other officials.
ETA:
- Ms. Smith has been contacted, they will be attempting to send supplies until this passes or we figure out how to stop it.

- Medical assistance can come in but we can't follow it out. Still uncertain if this demon can hurt them while they're in here.

- Soft music can soothe it. I do not recommend Kate Bush. Not when Adele exists.

I can't believe that May is almost over. I wasn't expecting to get a long weekend since I didn't think an occult shop would observe Memorial Day but apparently this one does so I off on Monday. I'm certainly not going to complain.

Still not the weirdest thing that's happened to me. It's not even the weirdest thing that's happened to me in the last week.

Anyway, hi. The lady who met me and sent me here told me to introduce myself so I guess here I am or whatever. I'm Donna Troy Wonder Girl?? and I'm a photographer by trade but I have no idea how that's going to translate here.

That said, I'm looking for a Dick Grayson, Kory Anders, Dawn Granger, Rachel Roth, Gar Logan, Conner (I don't think he ever picked a surname?? Kent maybe? Definitely not Luther) or Tim Drake. Or Diana Prince, I wouldn't turn seeing her down, either.

God, I could use a drink. It's been a wild couple of days.

It is incredible to me that humanity can have such an overactive ability to recognize patterns that you start seeing patterns when they aren't there. It leads to superstition and suggesting certain dates are more 'unlucky' than others, something some people tend to take very seriously. I promise, as far as I'm aware, there is nothing particularly bad about Friday the 13th, no matter what has happened on that date before.

So, quick question, do I get to keep one of these bunnies?

A home, an allowance and a pet, would be the raddest welcome package ever.
