JACK! Great news, they are now making a dramatization about RBG. It is not a documentary--so you better clear your schedule sometime this Christmas, because we are going.

There are a lot of perks to getting married (like, you know, getting to become Mrs. Moore (#DarlingNoMoore)), but cake and catering testing is pretty high up there.

It's been 24ish hours and I still need you guys to talk me down from rounding up every dudebro in town and using my legs that spent the last many years of my life professionally kicking balls to kick a completely different type of balls.

My boss informed me that I have worked after hours way too many times this past month, and that my assignment this weekend was to do "something fun." I'm not sure sobbing through The Hate U Give and developing an addiction to duolingo was what he had in mind, though. Seeking help finding some acceptable fun that I can report back on Monday.

Okay, last week was for dancing. This week, though, I've been told the karaoke at the Pourhouse is especially fun and it is happening tonight. Can this be a thing?

And not just my relations and future ones. Now that we're settled and not living out of the hotel, I want to meet more new folks.

So, does anyone know of anyone who's hiring and looking for a gal who's adorable with limited work experience, a penchant for random history trivia, and an expansive collection of aprons and shirts that advertise Joe's? Asking for a friend.

I'm sure a number of you have experienced this first-hand, but it never fails to amuse me to hear my father trying to converse with patients. Like...you just numbed half of their face with novacain, you have about four different sharp instruments drilling, poking, and prodding their teeth and gums, they haven't closed their mouths in about 45 minutes, and there's a little tube vacuum sucking their spit up: these are not the ideal circumstances under which to ask them how school is going, how their kids are, or who they think will make it into the world series.

So it's "Weasley Weekend" on Freeform so I thought why not turn the movies on in the background while I work on my September training calendar and now I'm just too up in my feelings to concentrate. Because, listen, I don't get this whole thing with Sirius Black and how ~quick~ everyone is to believe that he's somehow a mass murderer?? Sure, okay, maybe it was a stretch to assume it was this Pettigrew dude, but even his best friend for freaking ever spent over a decade just assuming he deserved to rot in Azkaban?? Forget Harry, Sirius Black is the MOST MISTREATED CHARACTER OF THE WHOLE SERIES.

I'm also deeply offended on behalf of the Marauders that they legit got no belated credit for their genius in Prisoner of Azkaban, the movie. The movie's all like Marauders who???? Listen, WB, the Marauders are the REAL MVPs.


Like I said. I'm all up in my feelings now. Thanks Potter weekend. Or "Weasley Weekend" whatever.

Well, well, well--I've been so swamped with my internship, I completely missed the launch of our groundbreaking Dunhaven social network. Someone at city hall is certainly earning their keep; I, for one, think this is rather clever.

Juno here, by the way, and I had a fun day at The Capitol that I must share with you all. The other VA interns and I decided to spice up our tours to constituents by dressing as famous historical figures and giving the tour in-character. I'm Hamilton. My friend is Burr.



It was meant to be "for the kids," but I think I might have lost them by rambling on a bit too much about the virtues of federalism and merits of the national bank. But it was terribly in character, if I do say so myself. Come visit us and give us a reason to do it again! Pester your senator and demand a tour and a meeting, we'll be happy to accommodate you!

Anyway, that's my pitch for civic engagement. I made it back in time for a Taste of Dunhaven today, so don't forget to come by the Gerges Dental Group booth and pick up some healthy, sugar-free treats. Plus, we're giving away free cleanings! Or, you can schedule a free cleaning, rather. With me. We're obviously not doing them there.
