Tomorrow is our first official trivia night at Roll of the Die, so should should definitely come out, if you're into that sort of thing! (Which you should be.) The theme is It's Dangerous To Go Alone: A Nintendo Quiz and I will hopefully be there to read off questions and celebrate with the victors. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has come out to the reopening of Roll of the Die the last three days. It's been an immensely surreal experience and I am just so so so thankful to live in a community as great as ours and with people in it that share the same type of interests that I do -- and also are willing to eat the recipes I've created, because damn if that isn't flattering.

I especially want to thank my husband, who has been a saint through this process as I've been occasionally difficult to deal with. The same goes to my family and friends, but especially him; you guys don't have to go home with me every night. 😉 Love you, Niall.

Hello, friends! With it being two weeks into 2020, I've been working pretty steadily on my planner and getting all of my exciting dates for the new year sorted out. I like having things to look forward to, especially since I'm packing my last semester of undergrad full of credits, and one of those things I'm looking forward to is this five year anniversary that I will be celebrating in March. Thinking about it has me all full of warm fuzzies and since it's been a while since I did one of these open forum sort of things, now seems like a good time.

Well hey, Dunhaven. For anyone that doesn't know me, I stream video games for part of my living, usually in the evenings. I've taken a short break of it, but I've been sort of prepping myself for the next several weeks and there are a lot of games that I want to play that have multiplayer functionality and I guess what I'm getting at is -- does anyone want to play video games with me?

As a disclaimer, and I swear this isn't me trying to sound full of myself or anything, but I'm a pretty popular Twitch streamer, so it's not like you'd be playing with me and only a couple of people would be watching. It's, like, you know, thousands. But it's also an audience so if you own a shop or sell some sort of product or something, it's potential free advertising! I like to talk people up.

So, I'm sure most of you have noticed that there's been some renovating going on at 215 Main Street next to The Dreamery. I'm finally ready to officially make the announcement:

For Goodness Bakes is no longer by order only! We will be having a soft-open on Black Friday, November 29th. I'm really excited about this next phase of my baking adventures, and I hope you all will be, too. Our website was updated today with hours and information.

Starting tomorrow, Stella's will have a new special dish on the menu called the #fiance. It consists of spicy chicken and cheddar waffle sliders with jalapeno jam. Add a narwhal-shaped pastry on the side for a truly special meal that is both savory and sweet. And delicious, just like my man, Everett Marshall.

And a quick shout-out to one of my other favorite local haunts, The Pourhouse, where you can end your day with my favorite, the Soon-to-Be Stella Marshall, aka the jalapeno mojito. (I just made that up so you should probably just ask for a jalapeno mojito.)

I'm really glad my boss isn't stuck up and lets is dress up for Halloween because all of my cosplay expertise would go shamefully to waste otherwise.

Also, maybe note to myself for next year that scheduling two important meetings on Halloween probably isn't the best idea, even if we're all kind of giant geeks in this industry.
