Exciting news - my senior art students will be showcasing their final projects at the end of next month! You’ll be able to find us at Picasso Art Gallery, May 31st. More details to come, but I couldn’t keep it in any longer. This is one of the best parts of this job, getting to treat the kids to something special and let them show off all their hard work.

Zeke and I are taking our first long weekend without Adelaide, which is both exciting and a little nerve wracking.

But I think most of the anxiety is coming from the fact that I bought a ring and I'm going to ask Zeke to marry me while we're in Virginia Beach next weekend. 😬 I know it's not very traditional, but we haven't been very traditional?

Either way, I'm doing it.

We just finished booking our trip to Virginia Beach next weekend for Alee's birthday, and Mom's volunteered to watch Adelaide for the weekend, and I've [...] found the ring, so it's official. Next weekend is it. I thought curious minds might want to know.

If this doesn't go how I'm hoping it will go, though, I'm going to pretend like you all know nothing and this never happened. 😉

So, an update: The date went very well. I wore that red dress I never get to wear. I even wore heels. He was very charming. Like, ridiculously charming. I'm going to see him again. 👍🏻
