My best friend and brother is getting married today and here are some things I know (don't worry, I've saved some for my speech later).

I know that there is no man in this world who will be a better husband to my soon-to-be sister-in-law, and that there is no woman in this world who will be a better wife to him.

I know that, in terms of great men that I have had the fortune to know, my best friend and brother is at the very top. He is some of the best parts of our mother and our father, in ways he often doesn't even recognize, and he is even more parts the very best of himself.

I know that I have seen him happier since reconnecting with Oceana than I have seen him in a long time and, for that, I will be eternally grateful to my sister-in-law. I hope that he ignites that same happiness in you for the rest of your days.

I know that I could have asked for no better family to be born into and that there will be no days in the coming months and years and decades that either of you will be without the unparalleled support system that is the Waters family.

I know that Dad would be proud of you today, Nick. And I know, more than I know anything else, that he is proud of you all days.

Thank you for being my rock, my best friend, and a big piece of the foundation that is our family. Oceana, I would tell you that I am excited and joyful to welcome you to this family but you already are a part of it. So I will tell you both that there is nothing else I would rather be doing today than witnessing your marriage, and that I am full of certainty that your marriage will be beautiful.

I love both of you so very much and I hope your day is full of blessings, and hope, and promises of a future that cannot be dimmed.

Other things I know.

I know that, as I watch you stand in front of that mirror in the bathroom right now, fixing your tie and double checking for stubble on your chin, that I love you more today than I even did yesterday. Every day I love you more than I thought possible, and more than the day before.

I know that my love for you is as loud and demanding and uncontrolled as raging rapids, as sure and steady as a river, and as depthless as an ocean.

I know that you have somehow become as much a rock to me as Nick has always been.

I know that waking up to you this morning and every morning is the greatest gift I have ever received.

I know that I'm going to dance with you tonight until our feet feel like they might fall off.

And I know that I will spend this evening the way I always do, wrapped in your arms, your warmth, your goodness, and the certainty of you and us.

So when I close my computer and come wrap my arms around you and press my cheek to your back, I hope you know, without having even seen this yet, that my embrace is full of a sureness that there is no man on this earth that I would rather be spending this day with.

I know we talked about wanting kids one day and that we're on the same page where that's concerned. When you imagine it, though, when do you imagine it?

I know that it wasn't all that long ago that I coaxed everyone into talking about sappy things, but it's Valentine's Day month and I saw this, so I really can't help myself:



Though she talks about her husband in the tweet, "a person you love" is definitely a much wider scope than just a significant other or partner. So while you're more than welcome to talk about someone like that, I also want to hear lovely things about friends and family members or even pets. You could even talk about people in your dreams, if that's something you want to express. Be public or anonymous, whatever you're most comfortable with. Spread some love, Dunhaven.

RACHEL

Now that I have most of the pieces in place to move forward and can officially mark my obstetrics residency as complete, I figured it was safe to reach out. I'm planning to reopen the clinic in town to offer a place for those who maybe don't want to head to the hospital with every ailment, or those who maybe have health concerns related to their dreams and can't exactly risk bringing those concerns to DGH.

I know you've been public about your dreams, so I wanted to ask a few things. 1) Would you have any interest in considering joining me in this endeavor? and 2) Would you pass this information on to anyone else in the medical field that might be dreaming, too? I want to make sure this clinic is safe for our dreamers and I think that begins with a staff that's equipped to handle dream-related concerns.

I'm planning on being able to open the doors on March 3, so you have time to think about it and let me know your thoughts!

[Roller Girls Team - MINUS Tallulah - PLUS Nick, Romy, Foster]

Alright. I've been sitting on this for a few days, but, as it turns out, I can't just let it go.

I know we're not all best friends, and I don't expect us to be. But we are all teammates, and that is supposed to come with a certain level of trust and respect.

Mo attacked Tally last week.

Tally did some things that Mo disagreed with, but, in the end, they had nothing to do with Mo herself. And, regardless of what Mo felt about that, physical retaliation against a teammate is absolutely uncalled for.

Yeah, I'm pissed. But at least I'm using my words.

We don't have to support one another in everything we do off the track. We're individuals. But if we can't at least rely on one another to not physically attack us, what the hell are we even doing pretending to be a team?

I know it's sort of still a holiday weekend and you all have a lot going on otherwise, but [...] can you make some time to come over to mine and Foster's place tonight? Tally is here, and she's [...] not doing great. I still don't know the whole story, but I've gotten pieces of it. Things to do with her and Samuel, the latter of whom has now apparently gone back to California after they broke up. Which seems excessive to me, but- There's [...] a host of other esteem issues, and she's not feeling very deserving of much right now, so I'm trying not to overwhelm her. But she asked for you two.

KHANS

I just spoke with Mehdi and he wanted me to let you all know that he and Nadia landed safely. Also, they did make it to Nadia's mom's house and it [...] went about as well as expected. He and Nadia will be flying back in tomorrow and Nadia will be staying in Dunhaven, presumably on a permanent basis. He said that he sincerely appreciates how everyone has rallied around Nadia and himself in such a supportive way. He's on his way back up to their room now, so I'm not sure how accessible he will be until they're back home, but he wanted to make sure to check in since he knows everyone was waiting for news.

Love you guys. If you need anything at all while Mehdi is gone, I'm here, even if it's just some quiet company and a really good glass of wine.

Could I pick your brains about something? I know there has been A Lot going on the past week or so and I didn't want to make anymore Big Decisions until things felt a little more settled, but I've been tossing an idea around for months now and I think I need to act on it sooner rather than later considering that I have to make plans in the very near future for what I'm going to do in January.
