Day 1 of spring semester and someone is already regretting the number of credits he decided to tackle and the choice of signing up for an 8AM class.

Can someone explain to me why this town doesn't have a Starbucks (no offense, Java Chip; you are my one true love), but it does have its own social network? I'd also ask for an explanation as to why I got all signed up to it before I barely took my shoes off, but I'd rather not unpack all of that just yet. Let's just blame jet lag. I came into Dunhaven with this idea that you'd go easy on me, but as it turns out when you're one of a handful of lawyers in a DC-adjacent town and you've got one of those faces, you drum up interest. Curiosity, even. And when I say one of those faces, I just mean everybody I meet wants to feed me.
