10 Reasons Why My Husband Is Awesome:

1. When he leaves the house before me, he leaves breakfast out for me to eat before I start my day.
2. He knows my diet inside and out and has learned as much as I have about what foods help and hurt my health issues and he uses that knowledge to make sure he's always providing the best options for me.
3. He's so patient. My Bad Mornings aren't quite as frequent as they used to be, though still as unpredictable, and he never makes me feel worse for having to change or cancel plans, or for having to care a little extra for me while I work through it.
4. He's the only massage therapist that I trust with my long-term care plans these days and he is, frankly, a magician at his job.
5. He is literally the best Dog Dad despite us only having our doggos for a short time.
6. His smile is super infectious and especially so because he doesn't just give them out carelessly. Getting one of his smiles is special.
7. He gets me and loves me even when I'm being especially stubborn (always).
8. He's So Damn Beautiful?? I mean, how does this human even exist??
9. He makes life feel less scary and the past feel like it was all worth it to end up where we are right now.

Hello, friends! With it being two weeks into 2020, I've been working pretty steadily on my planner and getting all of my exciting dates for the new year sorted out. I like having things to look forward to, especially since I'm packing my last semester of undergrad full of credits, and one of those things I'm looking forward to is this five year anniversary that I will be celebrating in March. Thinking about it has me all full of warm fuzzies and since it's been a while since I did one of these open forum sort of things, now seems like a good time.

So, here's my question! What is your meet cute? AKA how did you meet your partner? Give me all of the heart eyes with your stories, please and thank you.

The Body Shop will be open for business next month. I know the holidays can leave a lot of people wanting to punch stuff, so remember we're here for you. For the rest of you with functional families, please think of us during your New Years tradition of vowing to get into shape.

We're going to have a variety of classes from self-defense to yoga, and I still have some spots open for trainers and instructors. If you have any interest, just shoot me a message.

Dunhaven, meet Asher Hikaru Perkins. He arrived last night and I've barely taken my eyes off him since. Both he and his mom are doing well and we should be home soon. We'll definitely let visitors know when we're ready for them.

The clinic will be closed through the rest of the month, outside of emergencies. If you need a referral elsewhere in the meantime, I can get you one. Otherwise, I'll see you and your furiends in November.

I know that we haven't quite reached the real middle of the year, but I think that with this last semester just being so crazy and how quick the end of it is coming, it feels like we should be further into 2019 than we actually are. Because of that, I figure we've all been through the usual ups and downs that living life just happens to bring, so I wanted to propose a nice, positive question for folks:

What has been your favorite part of 2019 so far?

It could be something that happened to you personally, something that you witnessed, something at a grander level, either in Dunhaven or beyond, or even a meme that just made you laugh really, really hard.
