Hello!
I know that this is highly informal and my mom is probably not going to be at all impressed when I tell her that this is how I did this, but Luke and I have settled on March 28 for when we'll be getting married. We know that's coming up fast, but neither of us wanted to have anything traditionally large that would require a lot of planning and probably create a bunch of stress. It's going to be a courthouse wedding and afterward we would really love it if you all would allow us to buy you dinner and drinks to celebrate.
You are all invited, of course, but the catch is that we've decided to head back to my hometown for it. Obviously going up to New York is a bit of a hike, so we completely understand if you're unable to make it; I plan on making someone livestream, a la Diplo. But if you did want to make the drive north, I think we can figure out some carpooling situations and lodging and all of that.
Anyway -- we appreciate and love each and every one of you. 💗
This app I downloaded is letting me know your child is the size of a jalapeno and despite that it's kind of weird, I now want tacos.
Hello, my handsome fiance.
Happy birthday, my son.
Do you want important news or most important news first?
Do I get birthday cake today?

Happy Tuesday! I have some fun and exciting news to share.
As some of you know, I've been working with a realtor the last month or so. I felt like it was time to plant some roots in town, outside of those that I've already made. Long story short, I fell in love with a house and after getting a highly valued second opinion, I put in an offer. And that offer was accepted!
Obviously it will still be a bit until the closing as everything gets sorted, but I'm just really excited and I wanted to share. It feels nice, like I'm actually going to be officially official. It's been just over a year since I moved down here and I've had some really good changes since then and this feels like the cherry on top.
I'm sure that it went by even faster for you, but can we talk about where the last few weeks went? How is it tomorrow already??LUKE
Can I ask you a favor that may or may not be weird? I'm leaning toward it not being weird, but I'm using the disclaimer just in case.
Okay, say that you were going to have dinner with the guy you're seeing, that you're also married to in another life. And say that this dinner was for his brother's birthday. And say that his brother is probably really nice, but is kind of intimidating because not only is he family and that's big, but he's also, you know, a high ranking government employee. And say that you're pretty sure you might be defining the relationship tonight.
Say all of that is a factor. What would you wear to dinner?
Also, I'm mostly not freaking out about any of this, but I won't turn down any reminders that I'm totally cool and people like me and I have the ability to hold conversation with people without coming off as a weirdo, so I shouldn't dial up to actually freaking out.
