So it's "Weasley Weekend" on Freeform so I thought why not turn the movies on in the background while I work on my September training calendar and now I'm just too up in my feelings to concentrate. Because, listen, I don't get this whole thing with Sirius Black and how ~quick~ everyone is to believe that he's somehow a mass murderer?? Sure, okay, maybe it was a stretch to assume it was this Pettigrew dude, but even his best friend for freaking ever spent over a decade just assuming he deserved to rot in Azkaban?? Forget Harry, Sirius Black is the MOST MISTREATED CHARACTER OF THE WHOLE SERIES.

I'm also deeply offended on behalf of the Marauders that they legit got no belated credit for their genius in Prisoner of Azkaban, the movie. The movie's all like Marauders who???? Listen, WB, the Marauders are the REAL MVPs.

This is wild. Do other towns or cities have their own social networks? That seems like something someone else would have done by now. Or maybe the rest of us are too lazy, so we just deal with a million Facebook game requests.

I wasn't planning on driving up this early, but I didn't have anything else to do with my summer, so I figured, why the hell not settle in and explore before all my free time is gone? So hello, I'm Camila Trujillo. I'm from Miami, and I'll be studying law at the university. What's there to do around here? I heard there's a street party tomorrow? Is it actually cool, or do we just say it is so we don't offend anyone?

If you haven't, yet, be sure to get your ticket for the Taste of Dunhaven event tomorrow. I'll be featuring a few items that haven't appeared on The Square's menu before and, while I hate to brag, I think it's going to be pretty spectacular. I've been told that it's not quite as good as cheeseburger pizza and cheetos, but what can you do? Tickets are on sale until the event starts tomorrow--hope to see everyone there.

The "Consciously Aware My Students Are on Here/The Admissions Office Thinks This Is Part of My Job Description" social media persona may just be my most interesting yet.

Kind of liked Linked In, only a way more difficult balance, for sure.

And since I believe part of this persona probably demands a more formal demeanor than I use elsewhere on the Interwebs, allow me to introduce myself--my name is Alvis Dunn, better known as Mr. Dunn to my aforementioned students. I spent my childhood and adolescence in Dunhaven, meaning I can likely stop rambling now, since I'm sure the vast majority of you can now recall incidents of my early years that even I don't remember. For any newbies or tourists (haha), I teach Chemistry at Athena Academy. I would say I've spent the summer thus far not thinking about school at all, but truthfully I burnt that midnight oil more nights than I care to admit thinking of new and exciting ways for my students to blow things up.

So get pumped, #AthenaFam, A.P. Chemistry is going to be LIT this year 🔥🔥🔥
