Things I would really love to do today:1. Take a bath (with bath bomb, book, toffee, and wine, obviously)
2. 'Accidentally' run into Jace Atwater walking his dog somewhere in town so that I can pet the cutest corgi for approximately fifteen minutes
3. Sample every pastry at Sweet Nothings
4. Marry the absolute frick out of Everett Marshall
5. Buy a really cute tea towel and potholder set for Halloween (in duplicate so that Ev's house can be cute, too)
6. Get my nails done
1. Travel for something other than a convention. Honeymoon in Ireland, you were the best of times. If this year taught me anything, it's that more vacations are needed. Not bad, Eve. Not bad at all. I suppose it does help that some of my goals were things I knew I'd accomplish this year regardless, but it does a lot for morale to add something to your to do list you can immediately cross off. π 2019 has been good to me so far and I foresee good things in the remaining months, too.
2. Adopt a cat. Tragically, this has not happened yet.
3. Get a membership for the Y and then actually go before my body realizes I'm getting old. I actually did this and while I maybe don't go as religiously as I should given that I'm paying money for said membership, I do go! So I'm taking that as a win. πͺ
4. End 2019 with a different last name. Heck yes, I am. I'll have had a different last name for just over half of 2019 when NYE comes.
5. Move. This is complete and even now still floors me. I sort of thought I'd forever rent and while there's nothing wrong with that, being a homeowner has been very cool, too. It helps that our house is amazing and I have the best roommate a girl could ask for.
6. Give Niall more back rubs. He would have to be the judge of this one, I suppose.
Who's the new girl at BSG?
Hi.
So remember how last year I just so happened to ask you guys to go to the Faire in Maryland and then do dinner and drinks in DC on a day that ~totally by accident~ happened to be near to my birthday? I was wondering if maybe you guys would be into having that happen again, once more totally by coincidence. Liiike September 29? Prom on Saturday, Faire on Sunday?
Y'know. If you're all free. And feel free to invite other people, too. The more the merrier!
Is there anyone from your other life that you wish was here with you, that you could see and talk to in whatever capacity? Assume for the purpose of this post that your response does not come with the unintended consequence of wishing dreams/memories on another individual. This just piggybacks off of the last post when we talked about things you wish you could say to someone back there, or here.
