SECOND CHANCES NET

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. I finally tossed the last of the sweets. Morgan and Tony don't need any more sugar rushes.

Also, I know sometimes the holidays can be hard so if you need an ear or a distraction, I'm happy to oblige.

It’s been really fascinating to me to learn about all the different holidays this world has. Many of them are very different from anything I’ve experienced in my own galaxy. The tradition of celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of another isn’t completely unheard of for us, but I have never had to make a new year “resolution” before. I think it’s something I’ll have to give some thought to!

What about the rest of you? Are you planning to make any resolutions you’d like to share?

Someone needs to explain Christmas to me. Apparently the elves and the evil bearded man named Santa were not actually the real versions of themselves? I thought my galaxy was strange.

At least one good thing happened today. I came home from work and found an old friend waiting. He hasn't stopped talking since I got home.

I've been seeing a lot of disturbing reports and chatter on the boards and precious little from the government. The current threat doesn't seem to be restricted to just this area and its citizens like the bats or the turkeys. I'm proposing we all do what we do best and form patrols to keep the city's citizens safe, as well as each other, from these pint-sized menaces. Anyone interested can comment below, and I'll start organizing meetup times to discuss patrol teams and develop plans to cover a grid pattern of the city until this latest threat has been put down.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can all stop thinking that "Luke needs a haircut and a bath." Yes, I can sense it and I got tired of listening to it. Personally I think Rey foud a way to amplify the thoughts so I couldn't block them.I was even starting to gross myself out.

Not only have I cleaned up and bought clothes that actually are from this world, I am now gainfully employed as a tour guide at Alcatraz. It seemed fitting somehow. It's a very interesting place, if you haven't been there yet, you should come. I can get you a discount in the gift shop.

Someone tell me about this Christmas that I keep hearing about. It seems to be some sort of major holiday?

This is my life.

I end up in a place I've never heard of and no one will let me leave to go live on a perfectly serviceable island in the bay that probably even has lights and heat.

I meet someone who has the same last name as me and apparently is related to me yet I have never heard of her.

Now I have this......thing following me around complaining that I smell and need a hair cut.

What is this madness?

When I woke up this morning, I have to say I didn't expect to end up in an alternative reality on a planet that I've never heard of.

My name is Luke Skywalker and I have no idea where I am. Do we have to live in this building or can we go somewhere else? with less humans Is it possible to live on that island out in the middle of the bay?
