Alex, how do you feel about someone keeping you company while you play the drums at 2am? Do you play the drums at 2am? If not, have you considered the possibility that it might be an excellent idea? You'll have to let me know if any of that stuff on your list actually works, Ben.

I had not filled my sleep quota in preparation for this. I would like some warning next time, powers that be that are obviously reading all our messages.

Right, so I suppose I should introduce myself now that I've spent my first night here. Jim Kirk, First Officer of the USS Farragut. One of those folks for whom space travel is common so this is going to be a bit of an adjustment. Few questions for you all:

• Three things I should know as a new arrival?
