Spring must be around the corner, however. My eyes have been stinging something awful all day. I think I might have to invest in... what did you all call them? Ah yes. Sunglasses.

Even with all the weirdness that happens around here, it's pretty rad to be able to paint my nails and only get like a few weird looks instead of a lot of weird looks. LA in the 90s was fine, but there were still some things you didn't do in case someone took it wrong. And I'm not saying things are perfect now, but it's still rad, you know? Things are better than they were. There's room to grow, but they're still better.

I just think that's cool.

Also, I think I might try accent nails next time. This girl, Staycee, in my math class, was telling me all about accent nails and fancy designs and how you can tell who's a millennial by the fact that they're getting almond shaped nails. I still don't know what that means. Nails are nails. Why do we have to bring geometry into this?

I didn't tell her that I'm technically Gen X. Like the tail end of it, but I was born before the older millennials. That might've made her stop talking to me.

OK. My hand hurts and my handwriting sucks so here's the details from the invites in case you can't read them:

• The 23rd, we're starting at 11am at Pier39 at The Flyer Thrill Zone
  
• with a break at 1pm for lunch. More Fly Zone until 3pm
  
• 4pm-ish: House of Air with plans to leave around 6pm depending on the actual start time (2 hours of play time)
  
• 7pm dinner at Mel's Drive-in with a hard leave time BY 9pm
  
• We have the Vogue booked for a private showing
  
• We'll be seeing A Goofy Movie
  
• And after the movie, we go back to the Station

Everyone is welcome. We got the whole thing booked basically everywhere we go and it's already been paid for by our wonderful adult guardians.

I'm pretty sure I remember entering a radio contest to meet Julie and the Phantoms.

I'm also pretty sure it wasn't one where the radio steals you in the middle of the night while you're dead asleep and locks you in their studio without the band there, but I didn't read the fine print, so maybe I'm wrong?

Also I think they share a space with a new band? Frugal. Especially since most of the band is holograms or something.
