I don't know whether to be insulted that nobody sent me cursed flowers or if I should just take the win. I don't know how long this curses thing is supposed to last, but I'm feeling pretty good about my chances right now. Even if I get them I just have to not smell them, right? Easy.

The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.

Sometimes I think my visions might just be really vivid dreams.

Like when you're missing someone so much and then you have a vision that they're here and you're hugging them, that's probably actually just a dream right? Because it isn't really likely.

But my dreams are also usually a lot weirder. Like I'm fighting a troll but I keep getting worried because it's the middle of the day and I'm missing school but also my sister is there with a bunch of cats.

This felt real.

Losing Tony is a huge blow to my family. You'll understand if we need some time to digest this information. In the meantime, I seem not to be glued to anyone so I will be cooking enough for an army to get through my feelings.

From the looks of it, there are a few of us not currently afflicted by whatever this is that is going on.

Please let me or one of the others know if we can help with anything, given our "free hands" as it were.

In today's thrilling life of a photojournalist, you get assigned to cover a guy who decided to DIY a fireworks display and absolutely should not have DIY-ed and now he has 4 fingers and a sore butt so I guess that's how we're both starting the new year.

What's going on for holiday meals around here? Jason and I would love to crash and can be trusted to bring things that don't need to actually be cooked because no one wants that. So this is me, being completely rude (or charming, take your pick), and begging for somewhere to go. We're pathetic strays. Pity us.

As another note, who here is good with tech and IT support? I might've broken my laptop already. I'm terrible at this. All this newfangled technology in 2025.


EDIT: a recommendation on where to buy a replacement coffee table would also be nice.
