Zoe does indeed feel guilt for those she's killed. Alfred thinks she should talk to someone rather than just
keeping herself busy.
Fred doesn't find the desired demon, but instead a misplaced rich boy. Interestingly, he isn't bad at the
listening.
No, really, he can
get a girl that easily, Lois. Just like he can pull a gold coin out of the air.
This could be
very bad: Baba meets Crowley.
Chivalry as an insult, Dean really knows how to work it. Or not, according to Zatanna.
To JLC or not to JLC, that isn't so much a question as a
request by Dinah. Batman decides to not.
So, who better to
greet the talkative communications officer than a sometimes talkative bartender? No one really.
Who knew accidentally hacking into the wrong computer could lead to
drugs and molestation? Jensen does through very personal experience.
Rufio
makes good on his promise to the woman who helped him fly; he also greatly disturbs Hank with the blood letting.
Well, well, Rufio meets a
Pixie more to his size and liking. They even share cake.
The still slightly injured
mystic bumps into a lunching new mayor. He lets her know about his Fred issues, and she tries to cheer him up with the offer to introduce him to Christmas. It just might work.
Jensen's
"torture" continues, only now it's at the Angel Investigation office instead.
Looks like the City won't take Jensen's plight lying down. It
sues the daring female duo of Fred and Dinah, and Jensen gets a pretty sweet new day job out of it.
The turning of the Beast begins along with a little information and agreement
retrieval. The crone will have her way.
Looks like Zatanna did have it right.
Christmas did cheer the mayor up.
Lois doesn't get further than the first floor in her search for an interview with Bruce Wayne. She does get to see the
cafeteria, thanks to Ms. Zoe Washburne.
Fred helps get the man she molested settled into his new job, which happens to be her old one.
Awkward? No, not at all.
Zatanna uses
google fu to find the man who hit her with his truck. Turns out she might be able to help Lindsey in return.
JLC first time roll call: Black Canary, Zatanna Zatara, Baby!Beast aka Dr. Hank McCoy, Jake 'No Nickname/Call Sign' Jensen, Green Arrow. With special guests, Batman, Jennifer Government, and Fred Burkle.
Logan and Veronica have a pretty
normal Christmas. How adorable.
Sorry, kids, he really
isn't dead after all. Watch out.
Charlie
checks out the god in his partner's building. He had to make sure the guy was on the level, or at least not the kind who'd make with literal golden showers or swan diving the woman. Some gods are the worst.
He thought he could get
away with it. Jeannie and Lois let Dean know otherwise.
Pixie doesn't try to hide who or what she is, especially since the
wings make that difficult. But, there are some people she probably shouldn't be so nice to. Too bad she hasn't learned that about a certain magical type...yet.
Charlie gets to do some
detective work that has nothing to do with murder. Annie gets a free meal from a strange man and a watch from some disrespectful idiot.
If
she shows him hers, he'll show her his. What are Rufio and Jo sharing? Scars, of course!
Finally! Zoe and Jesse come to a very
agreeable agreement. Though, it does mean Jesse has to curb his lecherous ways. Sorry, girls.
Looks like there are more people with happy Christmases. In this case, normal-ish is definitely a step in the
right direction.
Could Ted have finally found something to do with himself in the City? Will Jack get help with the brain taxing number crunching and paper pushing?
How great would that be?Something
wonderful and dreadful happens all at once. The Viking and the crone share blood.
First Godzilla, now
King Kong. Really, City, really? At least this time there's the JLC to save the intrepid reporter.
Rufio gets to
share more cakes with a girl. Annie finds a good home for a wayward console named Buzzer.
Greatest image every: Hank's hanging from Eric in an attempt to choke the already dead vampire.
Yes, Dean,
Jo's back. Thankfully the NYE kiss wasn't
too awkward. Tiny Pixie cameo.
Yet, another nudge at his Beastly side. Baba tries to show the doctor a good time in
the Library. She leaves behind a souvenir.
Hannibal agrees to help Hank out with finding his
true self. Hannibal is just a little excited about this.
So, it's really, finally over. Fred and Jack are finally done; it's so
sad.
It's okay, Fred. Jensen will make it all better with a little bit of jealousy at the
kiss the paparazzi captured. He's kind of cute that way.
Dinah
checks on her latest recruit after his first attempt at heroics.
Lois may have finally gotten a front page
story that she was not part of. Veronica may have gotten an ear to listen.
Dean and Dinah
make up, finally. Who wouldn't make up with a guy who'd just been slapped by Lois Lane? Especially when he knew where the good burger joints were and admits he was a jackass?
As his first official act as mayor, Jack releases a not so nice
statement about vigilantes. Oh, Jack, this might not go over very well.
Nope, it
didn't go over well at all. Zatanna lets know just how badly it went.
Jo decides to
take things into her own hands and look up one of Dean's women. Turns out, Fred's not so much one of Dean's gals as a cute friend type who is more than willing to farm out jobs to anyone who can help, including Jo.
Is it a real date? Zatanna gets to hear Lindsey sing. She also sings a little and agrees to help
singing cowboy out with a personal project.
Zatanna enters Caritas
angry, but with the help of a lovely green demon empath with a set of gold pipes, she gets to turn that frown upside down.
He honestly did just come for some
flowers, and now she's got to deal with the dreams, oh, the dreams. And the worry that there's a vampire out in the daylight.
Dean and Jennifer go on a
date. There's definitely going to be a happy ending to this little adventure.
Jack's life really is not going to get better anytime soon. After a mad mystic, he gets to run into his ex and the guy she may have molested and may be dating.
Much posturing ensues.
Once more Zoe runs into Rufio, only this time she's got on a disguise. Rufio just might
respect the Bat, what will happen when he finds out who the Bat really is?
Lois has lunch with an ex. Said ex fills in a few things for the reporter, say like a
whole year of life back home. See, Ollie can be a decent fellow sometimes, Lois.
Zee's not the only one upset about the mayor's statement. Dinah is definitely willing to take out her
aggression out on some gym dummy for how things went with King Kong and the mayor's reaction. But, that being said, both women are more than happy to share girl talk about a certain lawyer.
Date #2? The mystic meets the singing cowboy lawyer at a tattoo parlor. It's that project Zee agreed to help out with.
Taking the expected heat for her decision to work for/with Fred, Jo makes a
preemptive strike and tells Dean before any jobs come her way. Dean isn't happy about it. He's also not happy about the sexual tension. Make up your mind, you idjit!
A vampire walks into a hunters' bar. No joke. Really. Lestat so walked into the Roadhouse, and he so talked to Jo. Jo isn't too awestruck; she lets him know just she'll end him if she needs to.
Murphy seeks
a little one on one time with the City's own God with a capital G.
Out of curiosity, Megan
spies on the mayor and gets caught. She doesn't get what she expects; she's got some thinking to do.
Jensen
apologizes for the posturing. Fred forgives even if she does wonder why they can't just all get along. So, the day doesn't turn out so bad.
The crone gets a little
more blood for her collection. So it shall be complete! Will she go to Disney World once she gets them all? No, something much more exciting will happen. Hopefully Logan's battle wounds will heal by then.
Once more Lois hears the clarion
call of a story. She rings Arthur to see if he can help out.
It's the
meeting of the pixies! How adorable, and possibly a little dangerous.
Dr. McCoy puts out a call for medical info and quick
check ups. To his surprise, people actually show up.
Let this be a lesson to you.
Do not sit on your JLC communication devices. You just might get an upset Batman on the other end of the line.
Nothing like a
coffee conundrum to make the day go by. Jensen, meet a reader who has some great moves. River, meet a telecomms genius with a mad addiction to feed.
Zoe,
he's not dead. And, he may be ready to play; he may be inviting you to join. This can't be good.
The Pan and the Pixie would be kind of cute if they'd just get on the same page. Maybe if he grew up, and she accepted who she was? Nah, they're just cute as they are.
