Alright, they're threatening to disqualify me and basically run the business into the ground if I don't update my prices. So, I'm raising the base cost to what They want, but I'm also playing around with ingredients to lower the overall cost for you guys. I'm still doing half priced lunch specials.

Hey, everybody. (I'm back, if y'all didn't see my other post demanding what the hell happened to the kitchen. "A fire" is definitely the answer, so I'll just... be okay with knowing that. I've got a lot of catching up to do.)

Yesterday, Erran and I had a conversation about ways that we can sort of memorialize the people that disappear from the house. I know it happens often, but it still happens, and I'd feel better about marking it somehow. We don't really know what happens to them. I feel like it would be good and kind for us to do something, make some effort to find them (clearly not when there's five feet of snow outside though), and if we can't, then we can memorialize them somehow.

That's about as far as I got in my thought process. Does anybody have any ideas?

Hi! So, a few things that I wanted to talk about today, so please don't ignore me? Okay cool thanks!

First off, could the people who were taken out of the house but then put back kind of tell us what's going on? Because I can't be the only one who thought that you all were dead and now I just feel awful about that. But like I think it would be great if you could maybe fill us in on if you saw anyone who worked here or whatever?

Second, I feel like we should maybe acknowledge that Avram and that one big guy (not Simms, obviously) from the last group of newbies are gone, and since now we seem to get people back, that makes me a little nervous that maybe they're not gone and no one's gone and we could really use some answers, is all I'm saying.

Third, Owen, did you have the results of that vote? Because I feel like I'm being pretty take-charge here and it'd be nice to know if I'm even one of the people that everyone deemed qualified to do this.

Fourth, I was thinking that maybe we should cook some of those perishables up now and put them in tupperwares so if we do lose power, we can still at least eat lukewarm meals first, then move on to canned stuff, instead of just losing a freezer full of raw meat. I'm going to put aside some stuff for Neptune, too.

Lastly, to all the new people, hi! I'm Pam, I've been here from the beginning, I've met like two of you but those of you who I haven't met, I just want to say that if you have any questions, there a lot of people here who can do their best to answer them, and I'd be happy to try to help out, aaaand that's it for now! New People (including the last batch of arrivals): If someone isn't already assisting you, please let us know if there's something you need, or have questions about. I assume you're all going to need clothes, so post your sizes here and we'll do our best to get you sorted with what we've got available. Normally we have access to a clothing shop in town, but with the weather we won't be getting down there any time soon.

Everyone Else: If anyone has any clothing they're willing to spare it seems like we might need to start thinking about sharing a bit. Looks like we're getting more new arrivals than usual, and any help anyone can offer on that front would be much appreciated.

Also, I'm noticing a trend of people replying to new arrivals with some pretty nonconstructive messages. You ALL could be helping in some way just by telling them who to talk to, or any information on what's happening. Every person who's been here for more than a week can be useful to these people even if we don't have all the answers. If you can't use your damn brain, or don't have enough decency to share anything helpful, then don't reply until they have a chance to absorb what's going on.

i'm moving rooms (to the one on the fourth floor between lennon's and jack's). i've started packing up what i can and i'll also bring up what i can, but i'm gonna need help with furniture and shit like that because i am a tiny person (a hobbit, some have said). so i am going to start on it at around 12pm if tptb allow, feel free to join in whenever. cecilia already said she'd help and we could handle it because bitches get stuff done but it might be nice to have someone in the wings in case one of us needs to pee.

don't feel obligated though if you're not up for it, no hard feelings. it's not on you that i wanna explore new real estate options.

just a quick note that I haven't forgotten about the council.

We voted on four members and Oliver and Kate got the most votes.

I have three others that are tied (Erran, Cecilia and Pam).

1. We can have a tiebreaker vote with these three to narrow this down to two.
2. I can make this decision myself.
or 3. I can ask the new additions to the house to vote. Although they haven't really been here that long to get to know anyone, I'm not comfortable shutting them out completely.

I'm willing to do whatever the house decides is the best course of action.
