Well this is new and unexpected. Well done.

I honestly figured these people were being ground into dog food in Mexico. Did anyone think any of these poor buggers were still alive?

Okay, so some people haven't weighed in on this at all yet, but it seems like for those of us who are involved with figuring this shit out we've got two contenders for the prize.

1. The ability to put the whole house, minus us, to sleep.
2. A secure, secret lair.

We need to figure out which one we're going to vote for as a group, and what sort of details we want to make sure to put into the request just to make sure we don't get screwed over.

Edit - Okay, we got a majority vote, kids.

These are the specifics we've figured out for each one so far. I'll add more as shit comes up. We really need to figure this crap out before the night is over to make sure we've got our asses covered.

Sleepytime for Zenith
We get to decide when and for how long it's used.
We get multiple uses. Preferably on a cooldown basis (once every so many days rather than a strict limit to how many we get).
No one on team ExB, regardless of where they are or what company they're in, are affected.
Can only be applied through a majority vote from ExB members.

Batcave
Secure and accessible even during trials/tests.
Climate control that we can always adjust and have access too, even if the house itself loses power.
Large enough for the whole group to fit in comfortably.
A stockpile of supplies and storage space that will not be tampered with even if the house loses access to their own.
Individual storage units that cannot be accessed by other ExB members. Proper lockpicking tools in mine would be highly appreciated
Access from each of our rooms/the cells.
Feed access with a printer.
Inaccessible to non-ExB members.
A comparable safehouse if we ever get thrown into another area like the island again.
A fully working coffeemaker, microwave and mini fridge.
A ridiculously comfortable full-sized couch.
Cat motivational posters. They can hate all the fucking Mondays.
A word of the day calendar that keeps up with whatever date people decided it was.
One of those mini basketball nets that you stick on the back of your office door, and act like you're fucking Shaq every time you make a basket, but can never seem to do it when people are actually watching. I want that as a fucking feature.
A bathroom. A nice one.
Cots for each ExB member (with reasonable room for all) in case the group ever needs to crash in there at some point.
A fake plant. We'll just end up killing off or setting fire to a real one.
One of those leather, tall back, swivel villain chairs.
What are those clicky things with the balls called? Newton's whatthefuckever? Two of those. Damon is inevitably going to try and shove the balls up his ass, or Simms will do it for him in the less fun way

So let's vote on one or the other, and then smooth out anything else we want in the details.

So we're to choose our own reward? I confess, if I'd been presented with this and told to choose anything I want, I would have asked for tunnel access like what Simms has. With that off the table, I have a few ideas, but I'm curious to see what everyone else wants.

How do we handle this? Do we toss ideas around, and then have a vote? Should we vote privately? What's everyone comfortable with?

I'm heading into town in a bit. The fog doesn't necessarily worry me, but if I'm not back by dark, please send appropriate rescue.

I'm going to take all the condoms and lube. After I hit the pharmacy, I'll get the ones Nurse Ratched stocked in the public bathroom. Of course I'll share freely with you lot, but I'm not telling anyone else I'm doing it. I want to see if They restock. And if not, what happens when people run out. ;)

just a quick note that I haven't forgotten about the council.

We voted on four members and Oliver and Kate got the most votes.

I have three others that are tied (Erran, Cecilia and Pam).

1. We can have a tiebreaker vote with these three to narrow this down to two.
2. I can make this decision myself.
or 3. I can ask the new additions to the house to vote. Although they haven't really been here that long to get to know anyone, I'm not comfortable shutting them out completely.

I'm willing to do whatever the house decides is the best course of action.

So... I have a confession. I do a little bit of writing when I'm sitting alone in my room. It's not for anyone, it's just for me, and no one was ever supposed to see it! But someone got my notebook, and I'm so, so sorry if you guys see pictures of the things I wrote and are offended! I totally didn't mean for anyone to see or anyone to know about it, it's just a dorky hobby and it doesn't even mean anything. Still, it might be better if you see any Polaroids with writing in them, you should probably not even read them! Just throw them away! And if you find the actual notebook, could you maybe just bring that back to my room and not look into it? I'm so embarrassed!

I'd like to find out who would be interested in volunteering for a security council. I'm looking for four people. I think the fair thing would be to get a count of who wants to be involved and then have a house vote to finalize the four. If you're willing to help out, let me know.

Also, after the fires in both the billiards room, and the kitchen, I think it might be a good idea to have a patrol of the house at night. If we can get some volunteers, we can work out a shift schedule.

I know TPTB think we ought to make our "argument" on the network before tomorrow, but I think there are more pressing matters right now than to have some kind of online debate about who is better suited for something we all ought to be involved in. all I can say is that no matter who is appointed to that position, I'm sure they'll maintain open dialogue and welcome suggestions from the house as a whole.

I'll be heading into town shortly to search for more fire extinguishers and could use some help bringing them back if anyone is available.

I think Owen has the majority right now. We'll have to see what tomorrow holds. I'm trying to think of a way to discredit him without actually drawing attention to myself. I can think of a lot of good arguments, I could even try planting them in Pam's head, but unless she voices them on my behalf, there's not a lot of good it does.

I've been putting a lot of thought to some of the additional plans put forth to the group. Primarily, embedding Roman into the Aryan family. At least he already has the complexion for it!

I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to target him in some small act of mayhem, to further distinguish him from the rest of the group that arrived on that day. Not tonight, of course; that would be too suspicious. Something to set him apart. Perhaps even go for Roman and Oliver at the same time, make it look like someone has a grudge against the military?

A slightly riskier alternative would be to set Roman up as a savior again. Stage an attack, one that doesn't involve Simms, and have Roman save the day. Say, I fall asleep reading by the fireplace in the living room. The hours tick on, the fire dies, and in the darkness I feel unwelcome hands upon me. We fight, I try to scream but cannot, but the pair of us soon hear footsteps heading to the kitchen. Attacker panics and bolts, I finally call for help, there's Roman. We could make it look like the perv took off through the front door. At this time of year, in the late hours of the night there's enough frost and dew to hold a foot print. Lead a trail back around to the fence, where they clearly jumped it and scrambled through on the pavement back in through a different door. This is all just off the top of my head, mind you. I'm open to other ideas.

Assuming, of course, that Roman is too.

Wow look at what we completely missed! :/ Are you going to the meeting? Maybe you should expose your own problem with whomever's bullying you...but I think if you don't have proof it might be better to keep quiet for now. I'll support you either way, you know that.

Alright, darlings. I have some thoughts I'd like to share with the class.

It is my opinion that this every-man-for-themselves free-for-all lunacy is, well, amateur hour to be honest. I don't see it working in the long term. The past few days have been infinitely fun, don't get me wrong, but I'm looking at the bigger picture. Chase at least seems now to be quite certain that all of the new lot are bad eggs. To be sure, Chase is a paranoid little loon. I can imagine he had quite the impressive trenchcoat collection in his youth, and there was probably a rule in all of his schools not to make any sudden noises around him just in case the bugger went Columbine, but I digress. He's a loon, but one that has somehow managed to carve out a little niche for himself here. There is a small degree of respect for him, and I would personally love to see that reputation torn to shreds, but I don't think the current methods of bedlam are going to do it.

If you disagree with me, by all means, go about your business. I would be delighted to be proven wrong. It's never happened before, it'd be quite the learning experience

It is my opinion that Experiment B would work better as a team effort, with everyone playing to their own unique sets of strengths. We could coordinate, share ideas and stratagems, and I believe work more effectively as a whole. That isn't to say bedlam is without its merits; we were told to sow discord, and there's been plenty of that to go around in the last few days. I simply don't feel it's the sort of thing that can be kept up long term without immediately drawing suspicion to yourself every time something goes wrong. I think it would be dangerous to our cause to have the majority of the group on the outs, so to speak, with the whole house. There are exceptions, of course. Simms, I still think your roll as an aggressor is a good one. Going balls out with it and getting in peoples faces is good. It's something these people haven't had to deal with much, and now they have to figure out how to deal with you, or if they will at all. I still think your talents are more effective with a partner at your back. Like your gambit with Roman - that was quite inspired.

Basically, I'd like to put it out there. Who wants to make this a team effort, and who prefers to go lone wolf. If my feelings are in the minority, I think we should at least come to an agreement not to screw each other over. If anyone wants to team up, I have a lot to bring to the table. I've been here a while, and I have an extensive log of notes and half-formed ideas I would happily share with the group for a bit of brainstorming.
