Hey everyone! My name is Linds and I'm here to introduce you to Sophia McKnight; aka one of the Chaser's for the Salem Prep team! Sophia is 16, a sixth year, and is the daughter of a once-very-popular Canadian Quidditch player. She is, to put it mildly, freaking stoked to be at another school, even if it's just for a year. Travel = yay.
Sophia is an incredibly energetic, daring and confident individual. Very quick thinking and sharp, loves to learn new things (but god help her for the things that bore her, ahem History of Magic, because she has zero patience for things that don't immediately grab her interest), and loves to be active. She tends to reach for the stars without thinking of practical things and is a girl that makes goals and is determined she can make them a reality. Optimistic. Talkative. Friendly. A jokester. Flirtatious. She's not very feminine, and given her height and her proclivity towards sports, she spent a lot her youth hanging out with boys--so her sense of humour can sometimes be a little crude.
On the negative side, Sophia is an awful secret keeper and can be extremely pushy. If you're her friend and a homebody, she will drag you out kicking and screaming. She is very assertive and restless. Not always the most forward-thinking. Awful with commitment and someone who avoids personal conflict. Really blunt and typically tactless.
She is pretty desperate to follow in her father's footsteps. She spent a lot of time on the road with him as a child, going to games and the like. Because of this, Quidditch is one of the few things she actually takes pretty seriously. I would say it's one of the few areas in life she is, um, intense about.
