HEY guys! I'm sure a fair few of you know, but I'm going to be dropping Alex and Anathema from the game asjdfklad;. :( I figured it was best not to spread myself too thin over five characters and just concentrate on Jana, Kingsley, and Dominique for the time being. That said, if it causes any inconveniences plotwise, feel free to shout at me ping me and we can work something out! Or I can just use this as an excuse for more plot for my characters. I'll still be updating the spreadsheet, even if Alex is no longer able to do so. If you have a character who might be interested in being the resident statistician/oddsmaker and taking ownership of the spreadsheet, let me know!

Yeah! And just so we can detract from the fact that I'm a failboat, have a Roald/Dominique thread (spoiler alert: they get together). /trollface

HEY! So I'm back...ish. I only say "ish" because apparently, when you leave for 10 days, you get a buttload of work to catch up on -- who knew?!

Also, sorry for my slowness with tags and such; let's just say that I grossly underestimated the amount of Internet I'd actually have. Moral of the story? I SUCK. Just poke me if there's anything I need to respond to!

To make up for my fail, have some photos of my trip! Well, the HP-related ones, at least. :P

Heyo! I figured I'd post my characters' love potion reactions here since it might affect some people, especially Durmstrang.

Jana was ridiculously late to Durmstrang's Quidditch practice today because she was stalking Jonathan doing things that are absolutely none of your business, and not to mention, she was in an especially sour mood because she was pining lolol. The moment she arrived at practice, Vasili yelled at her (albeit briefly) in front of the entire team, worked the entire team especially hard at practice, and made Jana stay late. Jana was extremely crabby during practice, even to her teammates. Sorry Durmstrang. D:

Dominique is too busy writing variations "Dominique Malfoy" and "Dominique Weasley-Malfoy" on her notebook. People might have noticed that she had ♥ SHM + DCW ♥ doodled on her hand. Also, those who know her fairly well will notice that she will be in extremely high spirits tonight because she may or may not have given Scorpius Malfoy the longest snog of his life (which Bekah and I are logging, so keep an eye out!). >.>

Oh yeah, and dinner tonight in the Great Hall was especially low on cheese, because Barnaby used most of the cheese supply in the kitchen to create this portrait bust of Scorpius, which Dominique had commissioned. Yup.

At breakfast this morning, Hugo came dressed particularly snappy and sang When I Get You Alone. Only...it wasn't to Sonali, it was to Kingsley. He even had a rose for Kingsley.

However, I believe at some point Lala would have attacked him (Lis - would she wait until NOT in the Great Hall?) and someone would need to break that up.

Hey everybody! Long hiatus-y post is long but... just wanted to give you guys a heads up before I potentially drop off the face of the earth!

• I'm going to be traveling in Asia/going home from Dec. 19th-Jan. 2nd for work, vacation, and family-related things. My timezone will be weird for all you Western Hemisphere folk, so you might get tags at a really funky hour. I'll be on actual vacay from the 19th-27th, so I don't know if I'll have the nets since I will be on a beach. WE WILL SEE.

• Speaking of Internet, the government at home (Dec. 27th-Jan. 2nd) likes to play this game called Let's Make Cindy Miserable, and the objective is to ban as many of my favorite sites possible, which means that Google Docs is banned (and Facebook and Youtube and basically everything). While I do have a VPN tunnel, it's mostly meant for work-related things, so I can't guarantee anything. :| BASICALLY, if we have an ongoing log via gdocs, TALK TO ME. ♥

• Speaking of other things that are banned, AIM is banned! (lololol can i have nothing.) :( I can access meebo and other chat clients, but the Internet is EXTREMELY unreliable, as my connection can get shut down at any moment by the ~government~. When I'm at home on AIM, it's like I'm drowning, because I always come up for air in chat and then sink back down into offline mode, potentially never to be heard from again. So if you're talking to me and I suddenly sign off on you or don't respond, it does NOT mean I'm ignoring you! It just means that government censorship sucks balls. Best way to contact me? Hello everyone! Last night's dinner had some, uh, song and dance as entertainment, among other things. Yes, if you are wondering, this happened due to dares. So what happened?

Initially, Roald was playing the fiddle, which Vasili started dancing to with a rose held in his mouth (which would look like this if he were a puppy). Katja joined him in dancing, which was to Russian folk music. Other people are welcome to join. Part of Vasili's moves had this element in them. If anyone's interested, he would have looked like this when doing that move as a little kid.

However, that was not all for entertainment. Eventually Roald and Dominque started dancing on a table, with Roald in a sparkly dress, heels, and a tiara. Dominique couldn't stop laughing, and I imagine it became very silly from that point on.

HI. It's Cindy with number three here! Completing the set of 7th year Gryffindors is this mofo: Kingsley Keep-Calm-and-Carry-On Shacklebolt. That's not actually his middle name (it's Alastor, whatever), but you can read more about him here!

Yes, Kingsley Shacklebolt is the son of the former Minister, but you'd probably be surprised at how nonchalantly he deals with it. In fact, there isn't much that can really harsh out his mellow. He's a human chill pill: relaxed, easygoing, calm. However, this Hakuna-Matata mindset also means he can be pretty lazy, in that he prefers to coast by on his natural talents. It's not that he's aimless (he TOTALLY wants to be an Auror), but if there's no point in going the extra mile, why bother? He's a pretty good friend in that he'll listen to you whinge and rant, but he refuses to get involved in your drama, because that's your business, not his. Basically? He's the kid telling everybody to calm their tits.

Other points of (varying) importance:

• Caught in a rad bromance with Frank Longbottom. The two are basically thick as thieves and brothers from different mothers.
• Has a hotass Latina girlfriend (that Lis is currently apping). They've been going steady for over two years. Yeah, two years. U MAD?
• Used to be a Chaser for Gryffindor from second to fourth year, but he got injured a few years ago, and hasn't bothered to get back into hardcore!Quidditch mode since. It's still fun to play, but Kingsley knows he's not all that serious about it, so he didn't bother trying out for the team.
• Loves dueling. BLOODY LOVES IT. He's your Dueling Club president this year, and he wants you to join, because a) he wants to be an Auror and this is good practice, y/y? and b) it'd be a fun extracurricular for the students who don't curr about Quidditch (though Quidditch kids can also partake on the fun!) but want an outlet and a good way to learn about different dueling techniques! Knowing Kingsley though, he'll probably make it as chillax as possible, since there's a lot going on this year. SO, UM. TALK TO HIM IF YOU'RE INTERESTED?! HE WILL GLADLY ACCEPT YOU INTO THE FOLD.

Let's see! Plots would be Moste Awesome! He hangs around the Gryffindors a lot, so there's a wide scope for interaction, but he's definitely not the type to constrain himself to the Lion's Den. And maybe one or two girls that he briefly dated in fourth year (and by "dated", I mean took along to fancy-schmancy Ministry events that required a date and the occasional Hogsmeade weekend -- nothing too serious). Friendships, not!friendships, the whole she-bang, whatever you want?! -- LET'S TALK.

And of course, I'm always down for plots regarding Dominique and Jana! Hit me. :)
