Hey guys-

Sorry I've been MIA for so long - life is crazy. I'm still going to be a little scarce probably but I'm still here. Finally got a chance to sit down and write this.

First off, I know we have new characters in game so welcome and hit me up with storylines and stuff - let me know if they would get along with Caer or Roxie. (Do we have any new muns? If so welcome to you too!! I'll double check the contact list at some point, but for now Hi! and here are links to Caer and Roxie bios.)

Also I am open to new plot for these two. I have an idea for Roxie plot so I'll be checking back in to tell you about it - but let's just say I'm going to need a 5th or 6th year boy to help. Just hit me up, I'll be on aim today since I'm going to be lounging around at home in bed. Let me know if you want my kids for some shenanigans!!!

HEY YOU GUUUUUYYYYYSSSS!!!

So other than doing a lot more Christmas decorating tomorrow I'm pretty much back and with a vengeance!! So happy about it!!! Anyway - We have a ton new characters and since all the intro posts got lost in the mix I am just going to reintroduce my two and hope to hear from all of you newbies!!

So we have the incomparable Roxanne Weasley (5th year Hufflepuff)!! One half of the George and Angelina Weasley twins, Roxie is the prankster, where Fred is the brains. She loves quidditch, her frog Bunny, her best friends (Liam, Anna, and Fred), and all of her family (which there's a LOT of). She's psyched about the other schools being here. She's outspoken and fun - and she's always looking for new ways to get into trouble. A friend of detentions and magical creatures, this girl kicks ass and we love her. I'd love for her to have more friends, possibly an enemy if you feel so moved, or maybe just someone who thinks she's crazy? Wherever you land I'm sure it will be in a good place!

Then there's Caer Kovalenko (kovert 7th year Durmstrang Chaser). He has a tendency to act/speak before thinking and for that is a little brash sometimes, but never really rude. He comes from a couple old pureblood lines so he has impeccable breeding, tends to be over formal upon first meeting someone, but he loves to meet new people and makes friends fast. He is not overly social, but he's no loner. He's badass in his own way. He lives for his morning runs, training, quidditch, and really loves dragons. His goal is to be a dragon rider. He has a bit of a tragic background story so you should read his app history for that. He loves his family and will fight for his friends to the death. He's all sorts of noble. He'd love to have some more close friends or new friendships that came about because of the tournament!! I'll need to talk to the new Durmstrangers asap!!

As always I can be reached on aim - even if it says away try sending me a message. I usually keep one up because I tend to just walk away without saying anything. ;D

Hi, everyone! It's Annalisa, and I was here before - like right at the beginning of the game, and then left because my RP load was too heavy. It's much lighter now, and I am really excited to be back here playing Lorcan again. I missed him like crazycakes.

So what I need from you lot is plot! I hope Elliot and Roald are still around, because he really liked both of you, and he wants to meet everyone who has arrived since I left, too! We'll pretend he was like... idk, living in the Forbidden Forest this whole time or something. Or maybe he fell out of a tree and broke himself and has been in the hospital wing. Regardless, he's Lorcan and he's oblivious and he needs catching up on what's been happening around here.

In summary, HELLO AGAIN, CAN I HAS YOUR PLOTS? ♥

EDIT: Oh and I have one new username since some of mine were crapping out on me, and that's pottermaximus. AIM has been messing with me and signing some usernames off at random times... this is why I have three >.> The old ones still work, when you see them online.

So, I haven't been around much recently, and I'm sorry about that. School's been kicking my ass (along with other mishaps like power outages and broken laptop chargers), but things seem to have gotten under control for now, so I'm going to start catching up tomorrow- well, technically today. While I'm at it, I may as well re-intro my characters:

Rose Weasley (this journal) is a 6th year Ravenclaw and keeper for the Hogwarts Quidditch team. Rose is a little shy, and while she can open up a little and be friendly with those she's close to, she's more reserved, quiet, and a little nervous around those she doesn't know so well. That said, while Rose would prefer to avoid drama and confrontation, she will stand up for herself and those she cares about. Despite being a brainy Ravenclaw, she isn't much for studying and working hard for her grades- she has a tendency to coast on her natural intelligence. Not that she doesn't care about books and learning, she just doesn't see the point in working so hard on something if she can do it without much effort to begin with. One thing she isn't lazy about, however, is Quidditch. She plans on becoming a pro Quidditch player or maybe a herbologist after Hogwarts. If she isn't in her dorm or common room, then you can probably find her in the Quidditch pitch, library, or the greenhouse. Aside from Quidditch, her interests include gardening, herbology, and muggle technology.

Tori Moon (not_sailor) is a 7th year Slytherin. Tori has the unfortunate situation of being materialistic in a family with a lot of kids and not a lot of money. So since she was a kid, she came up with all kinds of moneymaking schemes to get the things that she wanted. It was all little kid stuff, until a few years ago, when she set up a gambling ring and smuggled in contraband items to put up for sale. If your characters need anything that's banned at Hogwarts or anything, she can probably get them some- for a price, of course! Tori was a hot gossip item last year, when she was inadvertantly outed- she was secretly dating one of the few out kids at school, but they always seemed just a little too friendly, and people figured it out. She got dumped by said girlfriend at the end of the year, and was cranky and depressed for most of the summer, but has broken out of it, and is focusing on how best to profit from the events of this year.

Amber Lyons (resinite), is a 7th year Gryffindor and a prefect. She's a muggleborn, and while she's fascinated and enchanted with much of what the wizarding world has to offer, she's less pleased with some of the more questionable aspects of it and seeks to change it, and hopes to do so by going into the Ministry. Her sense of ambition could have gotten her into Slytherin, but maybe she's a little too concerned with ethics to be sorted there. Amber is generally nice, but she's not afraid to call anyone out over overly douchey behavior. She's also not afraid to take away points should a situation call for it. She's not mad with power, however, and doesn't take away points for every tiny infraction. In fact, smaller infractions like dress code related violations and being out only one minute past curfew are likely to only get a warning, provided she doesn't catch you doing it again. She does get pretty tough about stuff like bullying and harassment, though. Amber is no-nonsense and doesn't believe in beating around the bush- she prefers to get right to the point.

I've gone back and forth about doing this and I finally decided tonight that it's necessary.  Don't worry I'm not leaving or anything like that.

I guess I should start by explaining something about myself that not everyone knows.  I'm not an initiative taker.  I don't generally go looking for plots because I'm afraid of being turned down.  I don't generally IM people because I'm worried that I'm bothering them.  So it's taking a lot of effort on my part to write this message.

I love this game, it's easily one of the best games I've ever been in.  And I love the variety of plot and character involved in the game.  Which brings me to the purpose of this message.  Due primarily to my inabliity to put myself out there whether here or in chat or through personal messages I feel like I'm not participating to my full abilities.  This is my call for interactions.  Not just plot.  I know that many of my characters are desperately in need of a wider range of friends and I want them to interact as widely as possible given their individual personalities.  Just as a reminder the characters I play are: Nikki Worple, Willow Marten, Nate Roberts, Marietta Lee and Hailey Macmillan.

I know that messages like this are unusual but it was easier for me to swallow my fear once than it would be for me to message each person individually.

Hey guys - So I'm finally giving you all an intro for the awesome Roxanne Weasley!

So Roxie is a 5th year Hufflepuff (though the sorting hat fought pretty damn hard to put her in Gryffindor) and a fiery redhead! She's kind of a little bad ass. She's a huge Quidditch fanatic - she can play all positions (blame family meetings) but she has recently been the Keeper for the Hufflepuff house team. She is upset she wasn't able to try out but hopes that in the next two years they will hold the tournament again so she can kick some ass on the pitch. She will be a big cheerleader for the Hogwarts team!! Lots of jumping up and down and yelling at them, and I'm sure there will be enough yelling at the ref if bad calls are made. Roxie is a big personality and a bundle of fun. She can be a troublemaker, and is very much the daughter of both her parents. The prankster she gets from George, and the tough independent woman she gets from Angelina. She's a tomboy mostly, but she has recently found out that she likes to dress up! That's what happens to teenagers. She's definitely a no-nonsense type of girl, and she will be at every party she can - invitation or not. You guys might want to check out her full profile here to get a full sense of her. She really needs friends!! And obviously we'll have to work out all the family connections, cousins!!

Since it's been a while and I've been away I wanted to reintroduce my other two kids because I feel that will be easier/more efficient than back-tracking to each intro post.

Caer (said Ky-er) (kovert) is 17, and a Durmstrang Chaser. He's a friendly guy - not a loner but not a social butterfly - but he considers himself to have a lot of friends. He kind of has a grey-area outlook in life, not necessarily seeing what is right and wrong in any specific situation based on moral norms. By this I mean that he may do the wrong thing with the right intentions. Caer likes Quidditch and all sports - he's a perfect jock. He falters in his studies, though. He's never really been a brain, but that doesn't mean he's stupid. He's just not book-smart. He works hard for the grades he gets so he's not apathetic toward school either. He's impulsive, and likely to act or say something before he's fully thought it through. It's a bad habit he's trying to work on. He's not a bully or a fighter, but he's not afraid to fight for what he believes in. He's been known to throw a punch if someone attacks his friends or family and he happens to be standing right there. I guess you could say he's loyal to a fault.

And Tessalyn (intransition) (Tessa or Tess for short) Sinclair-Wood (7th year Ravenclaw). That's right - cousin to Maggie and Danny Wood, and big sis to Mallory. What can I say about her? Well, she has two moms...that's cool, right? She loves them both! And she is the product of a sperm donor (at St. Mungo's so he was a Wizard). She's a perfectionist, really sweet and studious, a prefect who has an attention for details and rules. She won't be the girl at all the cool parties, though she may venture out for one or two just to be able to say she did. She likes being a prefect because she has to do rounds after hours which kind of makes her feel like a badass breaking the rules...even though it's her job....don't tell her that. You don't want to ruin her fun. She's bubbly and likes to smile.

Need friends for all!! (and people not so happy with each? Crushes? etc.)

A quick re-intro, because I have not been able to keep up here as well as I'd have liked, and want to change that!  (Plus, now my weekend job is over, so I may actually have time to, yanno, RP now.  Awesome.)

I'm Jeanne, and this is Mal(lory) Sinclair-Wood.  6th year Hufflepuff, sweet girl, doesn't much like her sister Tessa (she has issues, okay?).  Her original intro is here, which is much better than this one here.  Love her?  ♥

Okay. I've decided it's time for me to get off the failboat/modly tower of doom and grab a ticket back to catching up in my own game, and I figured the best place to start would be backstorying with all the new people. Only the problem here is that there have been like 25 new characters since I last was able to backstory, soooo I'm going to take the cheap way out. Okay, so I think that life has settled down a bit for me. However, I admit to having NO idea what is going on in game right now.

Can anyone catch me up? It seems that there's been some sort of a gender swap?

Also, I need to figure out how to do the first round of Corbin's quidditch articles. Any people who want their quidditch playing characters to be written about, let me know. Any tidbits about tryouts and whatnot. Because those have happened, right?

Sorry for being such a failboat, guys. I love this game, so hopefully I can catch back up and get active again. You're all loads of fun.

Wow, I've seriously fallen into the Massive Fail category here. >> Between being sick and attempting to find a job (newsflash: the job market sucks), I keep checking the game with all intentions of activity, but then lacking the brain to do said activity.

THAT WILL CHANGE NOW.

I've missed a lot of intros (that will change now too, I PROMISE), so instead of overwhelming myself by going back and replying to everyone, wherein I'll say pretty much the exact same things over and over again, I'm just gonna reintroduce my kiddos here. WE WOULD ALL LOVE PLOT, KTHNX. :)

Hey friends! I feel like a TONNE of new players have joined just recently, not to mention new characters from established players, and I know I've missed some intro posts along the way, so I just wanted to do a quick hello and rundown of my babies.

I am Sara! 24 (omfg I just typed 23 because even like 6 months in I still do not feel like this age is correct,) Elementary Ed major, RPing basically since birth, blah blah petrichor / baobabble and SavageFlight on AIM.

This is Anais Beausoliel, Beauxbatons Seeker. She's Gabrielle Delacour's daughter with Nicolas Beausoleil, who is a famous Quidditch commentator in France. Anais is sweet and cheerful and extremely zen. She is impossible to rattle, ever. Negativity just rolls right off of her.

Lily Potter ellellpea is a fifth year Gryff whose basic background you all know. Lils is super-dee-duper outgoing and snuggly, hates Quidditch but likes muggle sports like footie and rugby, loves to dance and play and be outrageous, know EVERYONE and will get all up in your bizniz whether you like it or not so it's better to just enjoy it. She has a quest for this year dubbed Project Snog A Yank, which is a slightly deceptive title as she intends to snog ALL the yanks.

Jack Cardew cardont is a sixth year Slyth. He's a muggleborn with a grim history who is as a result prickly and dour, and he has trust and anger issues times eleven. If he doesn't make the Hogwarts team he's going to jump off a tower, possibly literally. I'm hoping someone will shake up his world a bit, LOL.

And Jonni Rosier jonquil is Pansy Parkinson's youngest, a fifth year Hufflepuff who is deeply insecure and wants mostly to please. She's quite sweet, but easily embarrassed or made to feel bad. Cute Boys make her make an eepy noise and blush. Hug her, kthx.
