In the spirit of Being Mean to Characters In The Guise of Character Development, things have not been going how Vlad wants them to go.

Hello everyone! Last night's dinner had some, uh, song and dance as entertainment, among other things. Yes, if you are wondering, this happened due to dares. So what happened?

Initially, Roald was playing the fiddle, which Vasili started dancing to with a rose held in his mouth (which would look like this if he were a puppy). Katja joined him in dancing, which was to Russian folk music. Other people are welcome to join. Part of Vasili's moves had this element in them. If anyone's interested, he would have looked like this when doing that move as a little kid.

However, that was not all for entertainment. Eventually Roald and Dominque started dancing on a table, with Roald in a sparkly dress, heels, and a tiara. Dominique couldn't stop laughing, and I imagine it became very silly from that point on.

My willpower does not exist. Hi. This is Alison again with her fourth, Katja Vos. She's a Durmstrang beater from the Netherlands; her mum is Russian though which is why she's at Durmstrang rather than Beauxbatons. That and she hates the sound of French. Katja is intense. She is very passionate, very, opinionated, very bossy, and she has a literal soapbox that she is not afraid to use. And if you're male, it is highly likely that at some point, she will threaten your balls. Don't worry though, she's never actually castrated anyone. She is also very into social justice and she will talk your ear off about it. And she will police your language. If you call her a slag, be prepared for a 20 minute lecture on your misogyny and why slut shaming is bad. She gets into a lot of arguments and debates, but really, the fastest way to gain her respect is to not be afraid to debate with her; she may not respect your opinions, but she will respect you for having them. But while she likes to think she's intimidated and scary, her bark is worse than her bite; just don't say something offensive and don't be afraid to be yourself and chances are, you'll get along fine. Katja is also super open about herself, and there is literally nothing you can't find out about her. Honesty is one of her main values so she makes a point to always tell the truth. This also means that she has a tendency to pry so be prepared.

Oh, and while she did make the team, she's not nearly as serious about Quidditch as some others. She's a surprisingly talented beater and she did work hard once she made the team, but it isn't her life. She hasn't been training for as long and she's not really devoted to the sport. She DOES work hard though since she's made a commitment to her team and she won't disappoint them. But other Quidditch folks are free to hold her lack of passion and dedication for the sport against her.
