ONE non-wand weapon

ONE other character (for help/moral support/bait - MUST BE a feinted character and no, they are not yet zombiferous)
ONE beloved item from home (sock monkey, Louboutins, trebuchet - anything they ALREADY OWN which doesn't negate the whole "stuck on a zombie island" thing)

So, in celebration of the love in the air, I'm bringing back a meme we've seen before: The Snaps Meme. We've had a lot of new players/characters introduced and I really just want to spread the love.

Here's how we're going to play:

1. Comment here with your name and character's names/usernames.
2. Your friends can/will reply with reasons why they love/adore/admire/worship you/your characters, why they want to have your babies, and other happy things.

Please keep this positive and anonymous to avoid any potential drama/conflict.

Journal names, how do you choose them and why? What songs are they referencing, what else did you consider, do you prefer to just use the character's name, and if so, why? Do other people have some that you ARDENTLY ADMIRE AND LOVE?

Writing Corbin's latest entry got me thinking about the concept of voice, and how I use it to keep my characters from all sounding the same. Obviously, we write characters with different personality traits, or backgrounds, so they will instinctively react to things differently. But how consciously do you change how things are said, as opposed to the content? How do you do this, if at all? Are there characters that you worry about sounding the same in certain situations? Similarly, are there certain things that one of your characters won't say? And are there certain characters you find easier to thread/log as opposed to journal? Or vice versa? And why? How would you categorize (reactionary, self-driven plot, loner, etc) your current characters?


I don't really know how to make this more interactive (as opposed to people just writing their own opinions), so if you've got an idea, go for it. Hmm, and if this doesn't really qualify as a meme, feel free to delete it (Alison, Lauren) and I'll repost it in my CDJ instead. If this gets interest, I'll reply with my characters after I take my practice LSAT.

So this is a meme that I've done at games before, and I've always found it helpful and fun. It is super simple. Respond with your character's name in a comment and people will reply with a word. Then you'll use these words as prompts for journal entries. You don't have to get to them right away, especially since in theory each character will get more than one, but it may be useful for those times when you really want to update but have no inspiration.

Okay, so this has Mod approval!

Some of us (read: Sil) have a memory like a goldfish, and as such, we have problems remembering our relationships with everyone else's characters, especially as they are spread across several intro posts. As such, start a thread with your character's name here. Then, comment on other characters' threads with a description of their relationship! A one sentence summary would be great. If you want a golden trophy, go for seven words. More, for detail, are also acceptable. And...GO!
