Just a reminder regarding the annual Ravensworth Foundation Christmas Gala on Saturday, December 15! Cocktails begin at 6 with dinner served at 7. The silent auction will happen at 8 and, for anyone who's attended in the past, this year's auction is shaping up to be even better than the last. Trip to Fiji, anyone? It's for a good cause, I say without bias, and is always a fabulous event. Dress is black tie and tickets are already being sold through the Foundation's website! Invitations ought the be delivered to everyone in the next couple of days, as well. Will you be there?

Letitia from the Dunhaven Historical Society emailed me today. They want to revisit the possibility of restoring Ravensworth Manor and turning it into an historical site. I haven't figured out how to respond, yet.

Has anyone figured out where these dreams are actually coming from? Because I'm done. I don't want them anymore and if we know where they come from, maybe we can make them stop.

I just want to take a moment today to appreciate the most special person in my life. Look at this little cutie. Who knew he'd grow up to be the best godfather a girl could ever ask for? Thanks for bringing me so fully into your life, Jeb, and for letting my butt leave a permanently faded spot on the counter at Grandma's from all the years I've spent sitting atop it while eating all your mint chocolate chip pie.

so this time of the year is dangerous because all of fall flavored things are available at the coffee places and i know i could get them decaf or something, but i really can't and i also can't say no to having one of each in a twelve hour period so i may or may not ever sleep again. but on the plus side i did all my reading and homework. i might not have retained any of it because my brain isn't going to shut up ever, but it's done so go hannah, high five for hannah.

Who wants to head out with me to see the Perseids this weekend? Forecast says there’s a chance of storms, but I want to give it a shot anyway. With the new moon, there’ll be a lot less light. Peak is Sunday night into Monday morning, but we’ll have a chance all weekend, provided the sky’s clear.
