Prepare yourselves: Beginning Monday of next week, Grandma's will be running daily specials that will rotate between cheese fries, milkshakes, and our homemade desserts.

We'll also be running some extended hours and will close at midnight instead of 10:00 from May 10th thru May 23rd.

Finals Week is approaching. Never say that I didn't do anything for you.

We've been preparing for the madness of the specials, but just so it's clear, if you aren't feeling up to picking up any of the extended hours, they're in no way mandatory.

I'm very much a lapsed Catholic these days, but I can't help but mention my very favorite Patron Saint's day, today.


As to that other Saint that everyone's celebrating today, well, if you're not already drinking, you're way behind everyone who was at The Pourhouse at Six AM for kegs and eggs. 🍀

Is there anywhere in Dunhaven that isn't a bar that's open past midnight? Hell, I'd even compromise for past 10PM.

Three weeks, guys. It took three weeks to get stopped at the grocery store by a complete stranger, be asked if I'm Alejo's niece, then suggested I meet their grandson. I'm afraid the wine, ice cream, and pile of Valentine's Day candy that I planned on consuming myself might have given the wrong message.
