I had a dream about Catherine. She did something awful and I can't get it out of my head. I'm trying very hard to act as though it isn't bothering me and I think I'm mostly succeeding at work, but I just keep thinking about it. I don't know if I want to even talk about it, but I felt as though admitting that it's a thing is a first step.

Exciting news - my senior art students will be showcasing their final projects at the end of next month! You’ll be able to find us at Picasso Art Gallery, May 31st. More details to come, but I couldn’t keep it in any longer. This is one of the best parts of this job, getting to treat the kids to something special and let them show off all their hard work.

Are we ignoring it? Do we want to talk about it? I’m good continuing to pretend it isn’t happening, but I didn’t want either of you to think I was ignoring you if you wanted to talk. So I thought I’d ask how we want to go about this.

We might be across the pond, but it's Mothering Sunday back home and I feel as though mothers should always deserve an added reason for appreciation so I have no issue celebrating a holiday that does just that twice in a year. So, happy Mothering Sunday to all of the mums and anyone else who might take up the mantle without technically being "mother". I hope that you can all take at least a minute or two for yourself, since I have no doubt that you deserve it.

If anyone happens to know of someone who has experience as a nanny and is looking for a job, please let Mikhail or I know. It would be nice to find someone with a personal connection for when I go back to work. Look at that, I can sound like a normal person.
