HELLO, Dunhaven. Several things:

1. Despite my reservations, we returned from Ireland. You're welcome, Noah.

2. Due to higher education calling one of us away, we have an open spot in our D&D group! Though we can continue on as we are, I wanted to see if anyone might be interested in filling this opening. Right now is a good time to get involved in regards to the campaign; we've been sort of on hiatus thanks to wedding/E3/honeymoon taking up most of June and when we start up again we'll be sort of diving into a new leg of adventure, so it would be easy to incorporate someone new. What more, we're going to take advantage of the two famous geeks in our midst and start recording our sessions for podcast format and potential livestreaming. If you're comfortable with that, are available Tuesday evenings, and want to get involved in a group with some truly amazing and creative players (their DM is just so-so, really 😉), let me know and we can chat!

3. This is old news, but as I've been away it might not have been obvious, but I have ended my time working at Roll of the Die. I had been working there since I moved to Dunhaven in 2015, but it's just gotten hard juggling the weekend hours with everything else I've had going on and it seems like a sign. I will probably still hang around during tournaments and will be leading some D&D sessions, but strictly on a volunteer basis.

4. Yui's gotcha day was while we were honeymooning, so to celebrate now, here is a picture that I took today of us looking super cool as we came home from the dog park. ( Cut for image! )

It's been a long while since we've done one of these and, though I no longer need the data for my sociology class, I do think they've been very productive in terms of discussion. So here's another anonymous post for you! Zeke and I are taking our first long weekend without Adelaide, which is both exciting and a little nerve wracking.

But I think most of the anxiety is coming from the fact that I bought a ring and I'm going to ask Zeke to marry me while we're in Virginia Beach next weekend. 😬 I know it's not very traditional, but we haven't been very traditional?

Either way, I'm doing it.

So, an update: The date went very well. I wore that red dress I never get to wear. I even wore heels. He was very charming. Like, ridiculously charming. I'm going to see him again. 👍🏻

Hey, Dunhaven. Business has been doing quite nicely and I think that we could do with another mechanic or two at K. So, if you or someone you know is looking for a job, send them our way. We'll take anyone from experts to people that have some know how and are eager to learn. Flexible hours. Good wages, plus commission. I usually bring coffee from Java Hut for everyone in the morning, sometimes even spring for muffins.

I have been back to work for almost a week and I'm pretty sure that I have forgotten how to be a functioning adult. Yesterday an email went out asking for food preferences for a lunch meeting next week and I replied to the sender (who I am rather friendly with) that I'd prefer no to pizza, because I'm still breastfeeding and I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to garlic that's making Yuri gassy. Surprise, but I actually hit reply all and was given all sorts of unwanted parenting advice and also let everyone know about poor Yuri's belly issues.

Today I actually went to work with two different shoes. Granted, they were the same type of pump, because I'm one of those that will buy something I enjoy in every color, but one was black and the other was a noticeably different shade of green. I didn't realize it until I was in DC and one of the other staffers asked me if it was a fashion choice.

Also I miss Yuri every second I'm away and I'm not unconvinced he's going to forget me while I'm gone and Mornings were a lot easier when I just had to put on leggings and stick my hair in a ponytail. I miss those days of literally a week ago.

I'm moving in with Margaret! There isn't really a deadline (she wanted "soon"), so I'm just going to start boxing up my stuff and bringing it over bit by bit, but I wanted you two to be the first to know.

I need to figure out what I want to do with my house. Rent it out or sell it? It could be really great for someone just getting out on their own. Like it was for me. This is my way of saying if either of you know someone who needs a little charity or could use a fresh start or what have you - put some feelers out for me?

Sooo [...] I was wondering if, perhaps, some of you might be interested in possibly joining me in going to the Ren Faire in Annapolis on, say, September 29th? Since the one in town is done and I didn't get the chance to actually go because of work and everything else, I thought that would be the next best thing. So we could do the Faire during the day and maybe come back through DC and stop somewhere particularly good for dinner? It could be fun, maybe?
