I know realistically it's not the case, but I feel like my bump popped out overnight and I am so in love with it 😭. Pregnancy hasn't been my favorite thing to experience so far (looking at you, indiscriminate morning sickness), but it hasn't felt as so incredibly real as it does right now. I see you, Baby Bean. We're in this together. ❤️ Almost 13 weeks down!

FYI, one of the few times I really don't mind stereotypes is when it results in me finding donuts in the break room on Monday morning. 👍😍🍩

Is it too late for a Pride post? Oh well. I want to brag on a (now former) student, so here it goes all the same.

I wasn't in DC this weekend, but one of the recently graduated seniors from MSSD (Gallaudet's Deaf high school) submitted this piece in an art competition during Capital Pride. I've known this kid since they were in seventh grade, the year I joined the faculty at KDES.

They won second place. And I'm damn proud.

Guys, don't tell this to LA, but I have been back here literally six hours and most of that time was spent in traffic or in line and I am so missing Dunhaven. I've been back to small town livin' for a hot second, but I'm already ruined.
