Happy Thursday! And not only is it Thursday, but it's also apparently Selfie Day? I don't know -- these are the things that Facebook alerts me to. I feel like I'd be a bad millenial if I didn't participate, so here I am. Caving to pressure. ( Cut for image! )

Okay, I know. It isn't a selfie. But I feel like I can be forgiven with that cute face being all cute and adorable, right?

You know what Dunhaven needs? A nightclub. But because it does not currently have one of those, I suppose taking an Uber to DC and back is going to have to do. Abs, Dot?

Of all the weird things I have felt in the past 26ish weeks, hiccups from inside of me might be in the top three. It's also one of my favorite, though, so I don't know how that effects the ranking.

FRIENDS OF ANNIE

OKAY, tomorrow is Annie's birthday. As a reminder, please be at my house around 6. Alex has promised to deliver Annie at 6:30, but it will give something of a buffer. I have a feeling that she's going to be able to figure what's going on immediately and that this surprise birthday party will not be much of a surprise, but it's the thought that counts. I have food, drink, and cake handled, but feel free to bring anything to add. Alex already smuggled me a pile of board games that she likes, so we should be set there.
