My dad's birthday is February 22! I want to do something special.

So, it's a long weekend. Does anyone wanna get out of town for a day? Don't really care where, just renting a car and going on a road trip sounds relaxing.

I need a break

Since things are finally settling down and I am very, very bored, does anyone want to check out a museum or two today? I can't say I've ever really gotten the chance to visit one of the big ones, and the Museum of Modern Art here has some interesting collections I kind of want to see.

It's been impressed upon me that I should be more social, but let's face it, I'm not very good at it. I know my strengths, and that's not one of them.

So here goes, in the most Elementary School way possible: Anyone want to hang out? Grab a coffee? Browse a bookstore? Sightsee? Exist in companionable silence while we each do our own things?

I wanted to handle this with grace and aplomb, but that would require several drinks with one Sirius Black, and perhaps being infuriated that my fella is handling this situation way too well. Unfortunately, none of my lads are here, I probably shouldn't start drinking with just a lovely, massive dog named Pony for company, and I'm sick to my back teeth of squinting at these bloody screens trying to see if you two lads with my fella's surname really do have the Evans' green eyes.
