Monday, Rhett Wyatt stopped accepting applications for his assistant position. That morning, he could be found at Common Grounds, making reference calls.

Near the end of the workday, Rhett called and offered Penny Dale, Woodrow Mayfair, Sam Arquette, and Dash Exely each a day-long audition. Regardless of whether he'd end up hiring them or not, Rhett of course offered to compensate them well for their time.

Monday afternoon, you could overhear Rhett Wyatt in the lobby of the Bellowes, speaking to Cecelia about how he feels PENNY DALE should be offered an audition for the Lightning Bugs lead. His arguments would include the color of her hair, her acting ability at Shakespeare Night, her pleasant work attitude, and her locale. She is even near the age Cora was when she died.

SUMMARY: Elijah asked Megan to go to dinner, they get to Seattle, and they discuss their relationship. In the end, Eli suggests that they take a break.

With the lack of a US team in this World Cup I have decided I am rooting for Mexico. Here's to hoping they can defeat Sweden and Germany loses their Wednesday game so they can move on. I've got my fingers crossed.

Maleko & Kevin - Have you gotten any information about the car?

Tony & June - Updates on the material you checked in on would be good. I’m sure some test results may not be in yet but if you could let us know the status of everything that would be great.

According to the coroner’s office we’ll be getting an autopsy report “sometime this week”. As soon as we do I want to be able to update the community with as much information that suitable for the public. If you find anything that might fit into that category during the week please make sure you update me so we can determine if it’s appropriate for the press conference or not. Do not wait for me to review your report.

And finally, thanks for everyone’s hard work. I promise that it isn’t going unnoticed.

SUMMARY: Hugh runs into Blaze at the coffee shop and apologizes for that one time he and Marceline decided to move in together without telling anyone they’d made that decision. They talk about Moira’s death a little. Hugh tries his hand at detectiving and asks Blaze questions about Cynthia.

( Maybe I’ll pick up more freelance projects. It’s better than being free to go door-to-door playing Good Cop, Bad Cop with my grandpa. )
