Hey, guys! It looks like this year's basket auction was a MAJOR success. Thanks again to all participants whether you submitted a basket or bid on one. As you all know, the proceeds from the auction are split between Timberline Academy and Fall City High School. This year we raised a whopping $93,165.12.

Usually, Raf would find a reason to stick around Common Grounds a little longer before heading over to finish the night at Last Shot. But since he'd made plans to talk to Ted Lynch, he had to close at a respectable time.

Which meant both dogs were very excited and eager to see him. Anyone expecting coffee after 5pm would be very disappointed. He closed without much warning before heading back to his apartment.

SUMMARY: These three talk over dinner. Raf makes eyes at Ted. Quinn has objections to wearing pants, but gives in. Etc.

( The idea of all of them sitting around without pants made him laugh. Olly would probably find it hilarious. )

It looks like the danceathon was a fantastic success. I loved seeing all of you that participated doing your thing! I'm grateful to have been a vendor this year. What a neat experience.

WHERE: Last Shot.
SUMMARY: Bishop and Raf talk about what's going down in town.
WARNINGS: Mentions of murder and feeling unsafe in town. Vague speculation.

( Fang would hand me over to a killer for a snack. He probably wouldn’t bat an eyelash. He might complain about it after, though. )

Around 3:30 AM, Rafael Valdez packed a cooler into his truck and drove to Seattle. He parked outside of the cemetery, resting his eyes until it was dawn. He spent the entire day in front of Noah's headstone with a lawn chair and a cooler.

When the cemetery closed for the evening, around 8 PM, he headed to a local bar, lingered until close, and returned to Fall City around 1 to 2 AM on June 29th, 2018. During the time that he was gone, his cell phone was on silent. He did not take calls. He did not answer texts. He would check in case Xo sent an SOS or an emergency notification. Otherwise, he is completely unreachable.

If your character is close with Raf (lol, who isn't), they'll know what day it is and why he's gone. In the meantime, the shop is operating on the manpower of his baristas alone. He typically has the place up and running for them each morning, especially the past few weeks, so expect a slight delay today!

WHERE: Out walking.
SUMMARY: Fang knocks Camila over and conversation happens from there!

WHEN: Early April, 2018.
WHERE: Home Cookin' en route to Mitzi's.
SUMMARY: Raf asked Wynnie to partner with him to make Common Grounds a success.
WARNINGS: C for cute because Wynnie is ADORABLE.

( But this time, Wynnie stopped herself. Her hands spread into jazz hands and she did a series of gesticulations because she didn’t know what to do with them until finally she got them down. 'That wasn’t the handshake.' )
