August has always brought me great surprises; I hope that this September will continue the trend. Anyone available on Sunday afternoon is welcome to brunch at my house. I'm happy to host all of my neighbors.

I'm ready for September. I'm ready for fall. I know that there's still a few weeks left of summer, but it's been a pretty terrible one for a lot of people, so I say bring on the autumn colors and hopefully less murder!

So, first of all, I have some epic picnic plans for the kiddies on Saturday if they're available and VAL, I still need to thank you for running to my side in an epic assist when my car died.

I already feel disgusting admitting this, because I'm stone cold, always. But I miss you. And we live, like, two feet away from each other, seriously. We should do something. Especially because it legit seems like you have a lot going on.

Around 4:00pm this afternoon, May Ryan was driving home from Seattle. About ten minutes outside of Fall City, her car overheats and dies. After a thorough investigation, including banging on the steering wheel, many attempts at turning the key in the ignition, and gentle tire nudges, May gives up and calls/texts/leaves messages for VAL MONTAGNA, JUNE ROGERS, MAX RYAN, RAFAEL VALDEZ, MEGAN MARPLE, and SOFIA ROJAS. She does a small dance in hopes of conjuring THE GOOD WITCH aka MILLY COX. Alas, Lacey Morris is not saved in her contacts.

While she waits for a rescuer, VOLUNTEER ONE is driving along and stops to see if she needs help. May responds by saying that help is on the way, but she could use some company and offers them some candied mango and a bottle of water.

When one or two of her allies showed up, she maybe called off the rest. If she remembered.

I'm sorry to say that my tomato plant is withering. If only a fainting couch and some smelling salts were enough to revive it. If anyone is interested in adopting and resuscitating it, please let me know, although I'm afraid that the effort required might be biblical.

In happier news, happy birthday to Wynnie Llewellyn. You're a lovely, accomplished woman and I hope that you take enough time throughout your busy days to celebrate yourself.
