At approximately 5am Sunday Morning Emilia received a call saying that the blood on Rhett’s Wyatt’s shirt was a match to Moira MacTeer’s blood. Any observation town folk may have noticed that she never appeared for her usual Sunday run from her house, to the river path after which she usually makes a stop at Common Grounds.

TONY TROY, who was on duty at the time, received a call from her. Emilia explained that she was on her way to his house in Henley Park and they needed to go there now too in order to assist her arrest of Mr. Wyatt.

When they arrived, along with CLEA COX who had just been coming in for their shift when the call came in, Emilia was about a block away, waiting for back up. They pulled up to Rhett’s house and Emilia indicated for one of them to stay out here in case he made a run for it. She knocked on the door, “Deputy Sheriff's Department, open up!”. The knocks go unanswered. After some inspecting they determine he’s not here.

Emilia takes TONY TROY to Main Street with her while instructing the other to call someone in for back up and pay visits to Cecelia and other people close to Rhett to see if he’s with them.

It’s near Common Grounds that she spots Rhett’s Lincoln town car that sticks out like a sore thumb. Especially this early in the morning when most parking spots are still open. VOLUNTEER #3, completely oblivious to the seriousness of the situation, makes an attempt to chat with either Emilia or the other officer who walk briskly past them.

Once inside they quickly spot Mr. Wyatt putting sugar in his coffee in the relatively quiet shop. But there were lots of people around that could cause an issue if he tried to make a run for it. Emilia instructed the officer to stay near the door while she went over to speak with him. “Mr. Wyatt,” she addressed him. Once he turned around so that he was facing her she took out her handcuffs. “You’re under arrest for the murder of Ms. MacTeer.”

WHEN: Wednesday, September 5.
WHERE: Phone log.
SUMMARY: Xo is willing to give Rhett a blood test to determine if Olly is his, but she has a few stipulations.
WARNINGS: None.

WHO: Six ghosts. One unconscious teenager.
WHEN: April 12, 1984.
WHERE: A clearing in Minnesota.
SUMMARY: Why is Rhett Wyatt, actor extraordinaire, so very scared of ghosts? The second half to Rhett's mini backstory mystery. This will not make as much sense unless you've read this log. This was technically for last month's challenge and it's unconventional and NPC perspective, BUT WE ARE DOING MOVIES THIS MONTH, so I think it still fits. :D
WARNINGS: Ghosts. Accidental death. Not so accidental cover-up. Graphic sarcastic quip about a head injury. Implied harrassment.

SUMMARY: Rhett's shoots his 5,000 dollar picnic lunch before it even begins by asking Xo for a paternity test. What follows is not fun for either of them.

WHEN: July 27th, the night before Rhett's birthday.
WHERE: Rhett's place.
SUMMARY: Xo and Effie have a friendship that warms Nae's heart. Also Rhett's mini mystery is mostly revealed. But the bigger point is Xo and Effie have a friendship that warms Nae's heart.
WARNINGS: Ghost story w/some creepiness. Implied bullying/harrassment. Talk of abandonment. People disappearing.

( It added an additional bit of information that she wasn't sure what to do with. )

Today anyone who passed the high school would have noticed that considerable maintenance had been performed on the building and grounds. The exterior work is gleaming. The windows, doors, and posts are all freshly painted, along with the parking lines. New bushes and plants have been planted along the building. The lawn has been mowed and landscaped. The exterior of the building and grounds look better than they have in years. Possibly better than they ever have.

MEANWHILE, on the film crew, Rhett Wyatt had the single-most very worst day in the history of his acting career. He flubbed lines. He missed cues. He kept falling asleep while filming. At the end of the filming day when he'd finally dropped his exhausted Ed persona, Rhett sincerely and profusely apologized to the rest of the cast and crew.

Following the end of the work day, many news and media outlets jumped on this story with fervor and a lot of speculation about what was wrong with Rhett Wyatt. What could have possibly made him so clumsy and tired like this today? Expect this in your headlines depending on the media you subscribe to.

SUMMARY: It's a dia-log! This is the interview between Rhett and Jacob going over any information Rhett might have in regard to his relationship with Moira MacTeer.
WARNINGS: Eh. Discussions of murder and use of drugs/being drugged.

WHEN: July 2nd, Night
WHERE: Rhett’s New Home
SUMMARY: Rhett asks his sister, Eileen Hayes, for a second chance, thinking that it will give Euphemia hope.
WARNINGS: Bad family relationships, allusions to bad things.

( Eileen kept her lips tight, emotions tight too. )

For Camila's birthday, Wynnie made her some cute sunflower cupcakes. She made enough that Camila could share them with her film crew friends and dropped them off at the Marples early that morning.

I am looking for someone who has a natural knack for dealing with strange phenomena and a fearless and bold attitude when facing it. If anyone knows anyone like that, please direct me.

[1] Hello. This is Rhett Wyatt. I am a colleague of Hugh's. He gave me your number. He said that you spend a lot of time at cemeteries and haunted places? That's an interest that you have? You're not afraid of ghosts?

Today, Rhett finally got a spare hour or two to sit down and go through his mail. As someone with a very dedicated fanbase, Rhett has always thought it important to read his letters personally, even though he does not have time to respond personally to each letter himself. While he was reading, Rhett opened one of the envelopes and found a note.

It was not uncommon for Rhett's fans to send him poetry, but as Rhett read the entire message and the implication dawned, his eyes widened with fear. Rhett turned the envelope over and noticed there was no return address. He called for his security team.

LOCHAN MADEN witnessed Rhett opening the letter and Rhett showed it to them. LOCHAN MADEN and Rhett's new assistant, CAMILA MARPLE, accompanied Rhett to the police station. He gave OFFICER VOLUNTEER his statement.

SUMMARY: Anja Weiss is distressed because her daughter eloped without telling her. But it’s okay, because Rhett is here to comfort her.

Saturday night, Rhett hired CAMILA MARPLE to be his new assistant. He also hired WOODROW MAYFAIR as his Chief Advisor. (Which is a title that Rhett made up in order to hire Woodrow Mayfair and will really be like a secondary assistant position.) He had PENNY DALE elected to be Cora instead of his assistant. He wrote SAM ARQUETTE a very nice letter explaining that while she did not have the experience this round, he'd keep her on file. Rhett also casually suggested to Penny Dale that she hire DASH EXELY as her assistant and got Dash in contact with the Lightning Bug wardrobe department in case they could use him.

All of the applicants who were given an audition received a check for $400 for their time.

SUMMARY: Rhett runs into Camila at the bar. He ends up encouraging her to apply to be his assistant.

( ARRIVED WITH RHETT WYATT'S MAIL ON THURSDAY, SENT FROM OUT OF STATE WITH NO RETURN ADDRESS. HANDED TO HIM BY WOODROW MAYFAIR. )

On Thursday morning, Cecelia Reyes had several meetings at the Bellowes Inn all with red headed women in their 30’s and 40’s. Most were from out of town and had driven in from Seattle or further, but one was Fall City’s very own PENNY DALE who did part of her audition with RHETT WYATT. The rumor that had been going around the Inn the past week said that the latest actress had dropped out just before signing a contract and Cecelia had decided to cast an “unknown” in the role.

All of the auditions wrapped by lunchtime at which point Cecelia tracked down HUGH CHRISTIAN & FILM CREW VOLUNTEER TWO and asked them to review some audition tapes with her. She told them both that her goal was to make a decision by the end of the day.
