SUMMARY: Nate Griggs, serial killer, makes a deal: a full confession to all his past crimes, in exchange for his family being left out of everything.

SUMMARY: After his arrest this morning, Nate waits to be picked up by Seattle PD but first has to convince the cops that he didn't kill Moira. Tony learns more than he expected to.
WARNINGS: Mentions of violence and murder. Language. Internal self-flagellation. Read this first.

Around 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 8, CHERISE is talking to MATT WOLFE outside of Hank's Hardware. A cop car pulls up and parks right in front of the store, and JUNE ROGERS and TONY TROY get out and head into the store. CHERISE follows because obviously this is very important. Gentleman he is, MATT also follows to keep CHERISE safe if things go sour (and keep her out of the way).

Inside the store, the officers find NATE GRIGGS near the back of the store, stocking some shelves. JUNE informs NATE that he is under arrest for the murder of a homeless woman in Seattle. She reads him his rights while TONY cuffs his hands behind his back. Although he glowers angrily at JUNE, NATE doesn't put up a fight but goes willingly as the officers march him out of the store, load him into the back of their car, then take him to the municipal building.

SUMMARY: Surprise, motherf**ker. Nate Griggs, serial killer, goes into Seattle to release some stress (by finding someone to kill).

WHEN: Monday August 6, morning
WHERE: Outside Carson's
SUMMARY: Nate runs into June outside the grocery store and gets mad at her for having gone to his son about him.

SUMMARY: Wynnie said that Nate could have one phone call to Eli. So he tried to call his son to wish him a happy birthday. But Eli didn't answer, so now his one phone call is a one voice message.
WARNINGS: None, I don't think? Also, I'm a rebel and posting this separately.

WHEN: Afternoon. July 16.
WHERE: Nate's house.
SUMMARY: Princess Bronwyn storms the castle. Nate gets his punch.
WARNINGS: Physical violence. Verbal smackdown. Implied unhealthy toxic relationships both husband/wife and father/son. Implied stalking and privacy invasion. Language.

SUMMARY: Peter manages to cross paths with his character's inspiration and decides to use the opportunity to learn how to become Neil Gordon.

WHEN: May 9th, 2018. Evening.
WHERE: Nate's house.
SUMMARY: Eli attempts to hang out with Nate by making him dinner. It's honestly very weird for both of them.
WARNINGS: Shouldn't be any. Strained relationship, if anything.

WHO: Joy Llewellyn, Wynnie Llewellyn, Nathan Griggs, Ian McKinnon, and Elijah Griggs
WHEN: Following THIS; May 22nd to May 25th, 2018.
WHERE: May 22nd: Joy's house. May 23rd: Wynnie's house. May 24th: Nate's house. May 25th: Eli's car outside of Ian's place.
SUMMARY: Elijah goes person to person for answers to questions that he doesn't want the answers for. He talks to his grandmother, his mother, his father, and then his best friend. Each has something to offer, but in the end, Eli stays with Ian.
WARNINGS: Length. I wrote this unconventionally so that we didn't spam the f-page, so all four logs are combined.

Otherwise, it's got conversations about Eli's childhood, language, yelling, and evasion. I am pretty sure that's all, buuut, if someone reads something and feels it needs mentioned up here, let me know.

Public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood pest control specialist: a rattlesnake's severed head can still bite you, and because the head is detached from the body, it will go ahead and give you all its venom. Maybe you'll be as lucky as that guy and survive it.

So if you come across a rattlesnake, leave it alone. If you're going to cut its head off, leave the head alone and call a professional to get rid of it.
