WHO: Elijah Griggs.
WHEN: August 27th.
WHERE: His home.
SUMMARY: It's a non-traditional narrative. Elijah is currently filling out the paperwork to legally change his name, but he's having trouble finishing it.
WARNINGS: N/A

WHO: Clea Cox and Elijah Griggs.
WHEN: July. A weekish after jumping off of the roof on the 4th of July.
WHERE: Carson's!
SUMMARY: Pretty much just two friends talking about chicken nuggets avoiding the hard things in life.
WARNINGS: Possibly light language?

( Eli, why are you hiding behind a cardboard cut-out of a goldfish? )

Immediately after work finished for the day, Elijah went back to Wynnie's house, packed a bag with a few things, and took Lyla over to Joy's house. He locked himself in his bedroom and refused any visitors beyond his grandparents and his mother.

Eli will not be at work the rest of the week. He'll either call tomorrow morning and explain that he needs a mental health day or he's sick, etc.

All calls immediately go to voice mail. Texts are screened and likely not answered.

WHO: Nate Griggs
WHEN: July 23, evening
WHERE: On the phone
SUMMARY: Wynnie said that Nate could have one phone call to Eli. So he tried to call his son to wish him a happy birthday. But Eli didn't answer, so now his one phone call is a one voice message.
WARNINGS: None, I don't think? Also, I'm a rebel and posting this separately.

( I was just calling to say happy birthday. )

Early on July 23rd, Elijah Griggs left Wynnie's house around 4:30 AM, started his car, and drove off to Seattle for the day. He left a note on the counter for his mom, apologizing for disappearing, but explaining that he needed the day to himself. He didn't want to worry about his birthday and cause trouble with celebrating, etc.

He spent the entire day in Seattle, hanging out in parks, wandering the city, window shopping. He finally found that food truck that sold cookies(!!) and basically enjoyed being alone.

His phone was on, but he was screening his calls. He likely didn't respond to texts. Because he's a jerk. He returned to town almost as early as he left, around 2:00 AM July 24th.

WHO: Wynnie Llewellyn and Elijah Griggs.
WHEN: June 30th, 2018
WHERE: Wynnie's house.
SUMMARY: Elijah tells Wynnie that he lied to the police regarding the picture that he found belonging to Nate.
WARNINGS: IDEK. Two people being distressed, lying to the police, mentions of potential stalking.

( I think I made a mistake, mom, and I don’t know what to do about it now without getting myself in a lot of trouble. )

WHO: Ian McKinnon and Elijah Griggs
WHEN: Post-fireworks; 4th of July.
WHERE: Hospital, most likely.
SUMMARY: Ian and Eli rehash what happened following the events of the Mayweather party.
WARNINGS: Drunken rambling, stupidity.

WHO: Sally Elliot-Hong and Elijah Griggs
WHEN: June 20th, 2018.
WHERE: Last Shot.
SUMMARY: Sally and Eli talk about life, basically.
WARNINGS: Language maybe? Drinking at a bar? Probably none, tbh.

WHO: Nate Griggs & Elijah Griggs
WHEN: May 9th, 2018. Evening.
WHERE: Nate's house.
SUMMARY: Eli attempts to hang out with Nate by making him dinner. It's honestly very weird for both of them.
WARNINGS: Shouldn't be any. Strained relationship, if anything.

( I'm not saying that your visit and dinner aren't welcome, but is everything ok? )

WHO: Megan Marple and Elijah Griggs.
WHEN: Wednesday, June 20th, 2018. 6:30 PM and beyond.
WHERE: Megan Marple's parents' home and then Seattle.
SUMMARY: Elijah asked Megan to go to dinner, they get to Seattle, and they discuss their relationship. In the end, Eli suggests that they take a break.
WARNINGS: Break-up language, talk of adoption, awkwardness.

( Talking. It wasn’t his forte. But he’d listen, if that’s what she wanted. )

WHO: Gregory Marple and Elijah Griggs.
WHEN: Before lunch; some time at some point.
WHERE: The vet clinic.
SUMMARY: Gregory gives Eli some advice.
WARNINGS: Talks about whether to have kids, relationship issues, and an absentee father.

WHERE: Crow Canyon, their now shared apartment.
SUMMARY: Elijah heads back to the new apartment so that he and Megan can talk following their fight. They discuss the future and their relationship.
WARNINGS: Break up language (is that a thing?), language, sadness, discussing the future, poor compromising skills, allusion to sexual behavior, some light making out. If I missed something, let me know.

( I’m just not sure I’m ready for a family. Or that I’ll ever want one. And I can’t keep you hanging around waiting for me to make up my mind. It’s unfair to you. )

WHO: Joy Llewellyn, Wynnie Llewellyn, Nathan Griggs, Ian McKinnon, and Elijah Griggs
WHEN: Following THIS; May 22nd to May 25th, 2018.
WHERE: May 22nd: Joy's house. May 23rd: Wynnie's house. May 24th: Nate's house. May 25th: Eli's car outside of Ian's place.
SUMMARY: Elijah goes person to person for answers to questions that he doesn't want the answers for. He talks to his grandmother, his mother, his father, and then his best friend. Each has something to offer, but in the end, Eli stays with Ian.
WARNINGS: Length. I wrote this unconventionally so that we didn't spam the f-page, so all four logs are combined.

Otherwise, it's got conversations about Eli's childhood, language, yelling, and evasion. I am pretty sure that's all, buuut, if someone reads something and feels it needs mentioned up here, let me know.

WHEN: Early evening; after school, 2006ish.
WHERE: Joy's house.
SUMMARY: Elijah doesn't want to live at home anymore and asks Joy if she will let him move in.
WARNINGS: Mentions of an upbringing with a father who's in an out of his life.
( Been thinking this house is too big for just the two of us. Maybe it’s time we get another dog. )

WARNINGS: Allusions to crappy childhood. Allusions to / mentions of sex, including attempts to use it as a distraction from the topic at hand.

WHEN: Friday, May 18th, 2018 to Sunday, May 20th, 2018.
WHERE: Various; Starts in the FC Library and ends in NYC airport, I am too lazy to google which one.
SUMMARY: TL;DR--Eli whisks Megan off to NYC for their three year anniversary and asks her to move in with him.
WARNINGS: Most likely none. Possibly minor language. Oh, it's longish, so if you're averse to reading, then I suppose this is your warning.

( This fits the lock to our apartment. I think we’ve waited long enough. It’s time to shake things up. -- If you can put up with Ian. And Lyla’s midnight snacking. )
