Unrelated - a kind citizen has paid for 12 tickets to tonight's showing of Crazy Rich Asians at 8pm. If you were thinking of going but weren't sure you had enough money left from your paycheck this week, it's a good time to show up. We'll be giving those tickets out on a first-come first-serve basis.

I am going to have add myself to the chorus of adult complainers. But as it happens I have not been able to find my fountain pen. Usually I lose it between my house or Benbow, it will reappear within a couple days. If anyone has seen a red fountain pen, please do let me know.

If any of you don't have plans for Memorial day, Gregory and I would love to have dinner here. Feel free to bring anyone along, just let me know how many people you expect to bring so I know how much food to prepare.

I would like to be the one to remind you all that Mother's Day is this Sunday. Now would be a good time to make those rush orders and deliveries for those of you who may have forgotten. One would hope that their adult children would not forget such a thing since after the age of 12 it becomes a lot harder for you to get away with drawing a heart on a piece of paper and calling it a day.

Remember that your mothers went through pain to get you out of that warm and comfortable womb and into this world. Mother's Day can be a time to try to repay that pain, and all the times you cursed your mother in front of her or behind her back during your tumultuous teenage years.
