I don't have anything useful to contribute to the current conversation surrounding this tragedy, but I can offer a reminder that Eddie and I are foster parents to a number of really, really great dogs, all of whom I bet would really love to lick your faces and wag their tails while you go through whatever it is you're going through in all of this.

There's also a three-legged bunny that Dory found out in the yard. He's not quite as cuddly as the dogs are, but watching him eat a banana is just about the most joyful thing in the world, and anyone who wants to try and lift their spirits by watching him go bonkers for banana slices is welcome to come over any time.

Do the Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery people actually WANT me to play their game, or are do they think it's funny to put eight-hour timers on things and be like HAHAHA YOU CAN'T CONTINUE PLAYING UNTIL THIS RANDOM ARBITRARY EGG TIMER RUNS OUT SUCKS FOR YOU. Like I can't even do anything in the meantime. I can't even get any dumb sidequests out of the way until you finish translating runes or whatever so CHOP CHOP ROWAN.

ALSO, if anyone decided to play this game as a Slytherin, I have questions for you, namely "Is Snape as shitty of an educator to his Slytherin students as the other houses?" and "Is Merula still a little twat if you're a member of her house?"

My girl Tonya Harding makes her DWTS debut tonight, which means I officially care about DWTS for the next hot minute. If you want to join me in caring really intensely about this show for the next couple weeks and then going back to not giving a shit about it, the #GoHarding party is at my house at 8 tonight.

Also yes I DID purchase the DVD version of the classic American film I, Tonya with my actual American dollars and am happy to screen it to the uncultured among you who missed this CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE.
