Would there be any interest in an informal sorting ceremony? There are quite a few Hogwarts alumni here, but for those of you who didn't attend, I can explain. When we start school, we're sorted by a hat enchanted to determine which of the four houses best suit our potential. They are:

HUFFLEPUFF, which values hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play.
GRYFFINDOR, which values bravery, daring, altruism, and chivalry.
RAVENCLAW, which values intelligence, knowledge, planning, and wit.
SLYTHERIN, which values ambition, cunning, heritage, and resourcefulness.

I thought it might be entertaining to sort everyone here — purely for fun, of course, and I'll make badges to hand out, if you'd like to show off which house you landed in. The enchantment part is tricky imbuing an inanimate object with Legilimens is immensely fiddly, but it shouldn't take me longer than a month to prepare.

Thoughts? Concerns? I'd happily re-sort anyone who's already been through the process. I know I'm curious if my house still holds true.

🌞 What is going on? On and off throughout the week, everyone has a weather bubble above their head indicating what kind of mood they are in. Even stranger, if it's raining or snowing, you guessed it, it is raining or snowing on you! You are feeling every little bit of it, and you might find yourself soaking wet! (Please use your imagination for what kind of weather is above your character's head!!)

I've read so many stories of great ships traversing the stars but certainly never predicted that I, myself, would be catapulting through Wildspace aboard one such vessel. Divination always was my weakest school of magic. Hail and well met, I am Gale of Waterdeep; wizard by passsion and profession and, most recently added to my curriculum vitae, quartermaster for magical items that might assist anyone in the field. I have my spellbook with me, thank the Weave, so if you have need of magical artifice I'll see what I can do to assist you.

I suspect I will be spending the next week in the library reading everything I can about...all of this.

right, i suppose personal pet projects are put to the side for the time. anyway, who wants to have some magic cast on them, and test out some theories of mine? alas it does not help the one person who's an expert in the magic i'm considering is kidnapped but i'm nothing if not determined.

tyreal will frown at me, but he already does that and he's not here to judge me. if you're shy with blood i'd not recommend giving me a hand here. good chance we'll have to use some.

Look, I did my orientation and I have my communicator thing, and I get it - I totally do - we're in space and London isn't here.

But how long does it take to a feel... Oriented? I'm used to going to the Ministry. I have a job. I do it well. I have a flat, and a fish - but my fishbowl is here, and Fish isn't in it.

So you know. No Fish, no Ministry. No... Flat.
I don't know who I am without those things. I guess I could go back to the spa?

I don't know what prompted me to take so many pictures yesterday, but here are a few of them. I know I didn't ask, which I am surprised I didn't. I usually do, but I guess it was one of those weird things?

Okay. I totally wasn't interested in finishing the movie I was watching anyway.

So...space? That's cool. I've been to hell and a few other dimensions, is it weird that SPACE was still on my bingo card? I guess this isn't as straightforward as outer space but I'm pretty sure I saw Scorpio out there somewhere.

Anyway, I'm Nico. Not exactly new to this sort of thing but I'll admit this is a lot more sci-fi than I'm used to. The crash course orientation was pretty straightforward as far as dimension-hopping, potentially apocalyptic hijinks go. Great job whoever put that together. I'm not sure to be encouraged or horrified that despite great advances in technology and magic, social networks are still pervasive in every reality.

speaking of, i wonder if anyone else has looked into the magic of time and spacial distortions? i suppose now i'm closer to it, it'll go easier. but in lieu of tomes, discussion may benefit that as well.
