I have a very important question.

Who wants a Christmas card? I've been making some in my free time, and I think I've got enough now for just about everyone. Maybe not all the new people -- hi, I'm Enid! -- but there's time to make more.

Granted, it's a bit arbitrary, but I'm taking the offer of learning how to make brownies as a good birthday thing. Going to take the bath bomb too, even if it may not actually count.

How are you holding up?

I don't think even my dad could have predicted this, which is saying a lot and not much at all. But space seems cool so far. The spa and parks are a nice touch. Unexpected. And the roasted chestnut carts are kinda festive. But it's also like those really fancy cruise ships that are basically floating cities. Without the seasickness. Unless you can get seasick in space? Space sickness? Motion sickness? Whatever. As long as I don’t have to deal with it, this place seems pretty cool. It’s not every day I can drink coffee and look out a window and see space. Stars, sure. But not like this.

It's so weird not to think about college now that I'm here! I have no idea what's going on at ZBZ and it's driving me INSANE! I need a new project! Outside of Morale, of course, and I do love to toot our own horn, but we are DOING FANTASTIC!

There is a lot that happens on the ship, so I was thinking about starting a scrapbook of everything here on the ship! Just think! If my best friend/sister/platonic soulmate, Casey ever shows up, I need a fun and organized way to show her everything that's been going on.

Hey, roomie! I was thinking about picking something up from the Gerard restaurant and bringing it back to the boat house. Do you want me to bring you anything? You've eaten, right? Please tell me you're not one of those "workaholic-I barely make time for myself" types.

I have an important question.

How early is too early to start decorating for Christmas?

Would there be any interest in an informal sorting ceremony? There are quite a few Hogwarts alumni here, but for those of you who didn't attend, I can explain. When we start school, we're sorted by a hat enchanted to determine which of the four houses best suit our potential. They are:

HUFFLEPUFF, which values hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play.
GRYFFINDOR, which values bravery, daring, altruism, and chivalry.
RAVENCLAW, which values intelligence, knowledge, planning, and wit.
SLYTHERIN, which values ambition, cunning, heritage, and resourcefulness.

I thought it might be entertaining to sort everyone here — purely for fun, of course, and I'll make badges to hand out, if you'd like to show off which house you landed in. The enchantment part is tricky imbuing an inanimate object with Legilimens is immensely fiddly, but it shouldn't take me longer than a month to prepare.

Thoughts? Concerns? I'd happily re-sort anyone who's already been through the process. I know I'm curious if my house still holds true.

So, I thought maybe I could wait it out and just forget the whole secret paper thing happened. But I got one in return, so I know mine is out there and all, so, it's just a whole big question mark. And I don't know how to do this. Especially as it seems like what I got might be vague enough that it could be a bunch of people.

But, ok, whoever I got, know I get it. Me and my parents ain't on good terms, but I get it. So if you're worried 'bout your mum and kids and got something kinda sorta on the same theme, DM me?

OKAY, I have a secret but it honestly seems really personal and sad and I don't want to say what it is. I tore it up into tiny pieces and threw it away.

But I will say this -- whoever you are, everyone makes mistakes. And I'm sure you did what you thought was best at the time.

Good news/bad news, everyone: I can absolutely guarantee that the disturbed coffee maker in medical is not actually haunted.

My brain keeps circling back to it and I don't know why. I'm certain I haven't used the term recently, but maybe I heard it somewhere? Is anyone planning on building a snake habitat?

I was just contacted by someone else on this ship, not from our home, that he saw what I was dreaming of last night.

Do you know of any other reports of something similar happening elsewhere on the ship?

THIS IS SO COOL. The people in arrivals said we live on a spaceship?!?! But no one answered when I asked if we get to meet aliens.

So someone tell me: do we get to meet aliens? And if so, do they like candy? Because I have candy in my backpack and can share it.
