Well, when it rains, it pours. It seems Atlantis has chosen to gift me with new memories in the midst of all our new arrivals and intake kerfuffle.

Now I know I said I didn't mind a little adventure, but this is a little too far.

To our new arrivals, welcome aboard the Poseidon. If you'd make your way to Intake [directions], we'll make sure to get you squared away with everything that you need. I'm Phil Coulson, head of operations for the Poseidon and I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

We seem to be having a lot of new arrivals and we've found some in random places around the ship. If you find someone new, please send them to intake so we can get them set up with a tablet and living quarters.

As you might have guessed, we seem to be having some sort of intake malfunction. We're looking into it, but for now, our priority is getting these new arrivals calm and set up with necessities.

I'm afraid it's all hands on deck until we get this sorted. That said, make sure to eat, sleep, and caffeinate.

The most predictable thing about this place is its unpredicatability.

I got a piece of paper as well. Whoever you are, I am sorry that happened to you. I was not sold into slavery exactly but I was taken against my will. I am also sorry about what you discovered about your father.

If you do not want to say you are pubically, that's fine but I'm always willing to lend an ear if you want to talk.

As unpredictable as Atlantis magic can be, the only predictable piece seems to be the reactions of those it affects. Scary or vulnerable to funny or caring. At least some things do stay the same.

To the person whose paper I received, giving your life for someone is the greatest act you can ever give them. Telling them is only a decision you can make for yourself, and I don't think either is necessarily a wrong decision. You don't need to answer, but I'm here if you'd like to talk.
